Cerberus - FF7 Dirge of Cerberus
Showing 1-4 of 4 entries
Update: 30 Sep, 2022 @ 4:57pm

Version 0.4 has been published to Stable.
- Cerberus now converts all vanilla bullet types, but cannot utilize mod types at the moment. (They will mostly just create particle effects from my experiments.) I am working on that.

- Cerberus Bullets should travel slightly faster and be more usable.

- Cerberus received another larger damage buff to make it fit the description. My focus here has always been a gun that can be used post-Moon Lord, and so far it seems viable but not 100% the greatest for speedy bosses.

Update: 24 Sep, 2022 @ 1:23pm

Version 0.3.5 has been published to Stable.
- Cerberus has received a large damage boost (it is intended for Calamity bosses, but not the superbosses at the moment)
- Cerberus shoots slightly faster
- Cerberus Bullets travel somewhat faster
- Cerberus matches its FF7 counterpart canonically in the fact that it now fires 3 projectiles instead of 4 (which technically counts as a nerf, but that's fine)

Maximizing your Ranged damage should put the Cerberus over 1.2k damage without counting crits.
Crafting requirement changes may come soon.

I am still attempting to find solutions for converting all ammo types without listing out every existing ammo type.

Update: 24 Sep, 2022 @ 4:06am

Version 0.3 has been published to Stable.
- Fixed Cerberus Bullets being unusable by any other gun
- Fixed Cerberus to use any bullet type
- Fixed size of Cerberus being too large, which fixed the offset of the gun

- Spiced up Cerberus Bullets to be more than just a straight shot as they now do not collide with tiles and track enemies when the shot is close, but have one less penetration and do not last as long
---- This was done because I wanted some level of balance in my attempt to make it better, as my first test in this style of shot made it so that basically everything around the player died..

- Lowered the spread of the bullets fired by Cerberus

Am working on converting ammo properly. For now, it converts musket balls only, which means the Endless Musket Pouch should be fine to use as well.
