Update to 1.1.7

  • Disabled xenotypes for Lynians, except for baseliner and sanguophage. However this will only work for the Dev version of HAR for now. It will automatically start working once the necessary fields have been added to the main version of HAR.
  • Also excluded Lynians from having body genes, as in genes that give them different body textures.

Update to 1.1.5

  • Non-player Lynian pawn kinds should always be baseliner now. Hopefully fixing issues with Lynians that are part of the Stoneborn faction being fake Stoneborn, while still allowing the player to create unholy half Lynian monstrosities.
      Thanks to Skullywag on that polar bear man youtubers discord for finding this out.

Update to 1.1.4

  • Fixed an issue where animals would be checked for specific genes when checking if a pawn can use felvine. Seeing as animals don't have genes, it caused an error.
  • Added the felvine stone, which requires Ideology.
      A large stone structure, that creates a thick cloud of felvine around itself. Anyone in the cloud will become high on felvine over time, but only if they are affected by felvine ingestion.
  • The felvine stone is patched for Medieval Overhaul, adding engineering as a required research, and replacing the components required with MO's components.

  • Added an orbital Lynian Guild trader, which also works for Medieval Overhaul. This sells:
    • Raw food
    • Meals
    • Felvine powder
    • Lynian worker apparel
    • Acorn knight apparel
    • Eurekacorn/s (not guaranteed)
    • A single Shakalaka dance book (not guaranteed)
    • 3 to 6 random Lynian recruits.
  • Added some additional trade tags to specific equipment.

  • Acorn Knights now use a custom name maker.
  • Ultimate Mask description modified, adding a new line stating only Lynians can wear it.
  • Added patches for Lost Technology Core:
    • Added wood log as an allowed starting stuff for the lost technology faction, ensuring Lynians don't spawn completely naked.
    • The lost technology faction can now have certain Lynian kinds as starting pawns.
    • The lost technology faction can now have certain Lynian kinds join as wanderers.
  • Modified the Medieval Overhaul race settings patch, removing Boaboa kinds as possible wanderer kinds, because they spawn naked.
  • Added wood log as an allowed starting stuff for the player factions in Medieval Overhaul, ensuring Lynians don't spawn completely naked.

1.4 Support

  • Switched all references of ToxicSensitivity to ToxicResistance.
  • Removed all instances of geneticVariance.
  • Added melaninRange to appropriate factions.
  • Removed all instances of baseRecruitDifficulty.
  • Removed soundLanding from Mashed_Lynian_PawnDigging.
  • Added Mashed_Lynian_GasBase, and reworked gas thing defs to use it.
  • Removed removed fields from gas defs.
  • Added head type defs for all Lynian heads.
  • Matched changes made to HAR for 1.4. There's too many to individually list out.
  • Added Cutout skinShader, so Lynians don't look like they are rotting.
  • Ultimate mask redone to use a comp + Harmony patch, matching vanilla shield belt changes.

Biotech Support
  • Cosmetic genes are disabled for the Lynian races. The alternative is a never ending shit heap of work.
  • Added support for new Biotech lifestages.
  • Added conditional support for Cyanobots Toddlers mod.
  • Added lifeStageWorkSettings to base Lynian race.
  • Matched changes to ageGenerationCurve from the human race def.

  • Lynian children can wear almost all Lynian apparel, excluding backpacks and Purrsurker armour.

  • Shakalaka wanderers generated in the Shakalaka wanderer quest will always be children if Biotech is enabled.
  • Lynians will only ever reproduce with other Lynians.
  • Added Lynian inherited bonus genes.
  • Lynians born from two different Lynian races will inherit a weakened version of their fathers passive bonuses.
  • Lynians have custom swaddle graphics.
  • Added the furrious firing furrenzy ability, and a matching Gajalaka pawn kind. Locked behind Biotech because one of the stats it needs wasn't added to core.

Shakalaka expansion
  • Added a custom name maker for Shakalaka, using the names of percussion instruments and dances.
  • Added 12 Shakalaka dance ablities.
  • Added a record for the number of times a pawn has danced a Shakalaka dance.
  • Added Shakalaka dance books, which can be purchased from Shakalaka traders.
  • Added a new VE achievement for dancing many dances.
  • Added the master Shakalaka dance book. Reading it will unlock the secondary effect for all dances, for athe Lynian that reads it.
  • Added a new VE achievement for having a Lynian read the master Shakalaka dance book.
  • Shakalaka have a chance to start with a random dance ability.
  • Shakalaka wanderers will always start with a random dance ability.

Other new content
  • Added cloth Lynian tail. You can use it to replace Lynian tails, and it's made from cloth.
  • Added a new head for Grimalkynes.
  • Added Lynian recruits, which can be hired from Lynian traders. They will only show up if your colony population allows for it.
  • Felvine highs will now cause felvine bubbles to appear above the pawns head.
  • Adding several new furrenzy abilities (Farming, cleaning, firing, furrious firing). Eurekacorns for these can be purchased from the appropriate Lynian factions.
  • Added some special catlike Lynian names.
  • AI can now use certain Lynian abilities in certain circumstances (firing furrenzy, dig, purrserker rage, hunters mark).
  • Specific Gajalaka kinds now start with the firing furrenzy ability.

  • Added medieval tier player factions, with support for MO and VFE-M starting research.

Fixes
  • Fixed Grimalkyne ears. May not have been broken in 1.3?
  • Fixed missing eye graphics for Boaboa. The right eye used the graphics for the left eye.
  • Modified Felyne ear masks, fixing any white line issues on them.
  • Lynians will (hopefully) only ever romance other Lynians. Other mods may potentially break this.
  • Fixed the Harmony patch that prevented non-catlike Lynians from generating with Felvine addiction.
  • Fixed the SeedsPlease Lite patch for both 1.3 and 1.4.

Other changes
  • Reworked the dig ability to match changes made to pawn flying code.
  • The dig ability now has 3 charges, before it goes on cooldown.
  • Redone all ability art.
  • Redid the eurekacorn art.
  • The cleaning speed bonus of the kitchen apron now uses the vanilla cleaning speed stat.
  • Catlike Lynian warriors now wear purrserker armour.
  • All Furrenzy abilities now share the same cooldown.
  • Eating eurekacorns now fills the pawns food need.
  • Lynian weapons can no longer be Ideo relics, fixing related errors.
  • Adjusted combat power of Lynian pawn kinds that start with an ability.
  • Increased the market value of certain eurekacorns.
  • Gajalaka hand canons now use accuracy stats, instead of forced miss radius.
  • Various text changes/fixes etc.
