Fix the trees not spawning on the map

Lava fix, new road and news
Changelog:
  • The Lava in Hawaii has been fixed and will kill players on contact again.
  • Players will now ONLY spawn on the eastern coast of Canada as to try to give the map more balance.
  • There is now a road connecting Northern Canada to South Eastern Russia.
  • The fog effect used in the Yukon map has been removed as it is does not quite fit it's intended purpose.
  • Adjusted item spawns and building placement in the Canada military base.
NOTE: I've seen one large railway suggested a lot for the map and it was originally intended to be added before the map was released but canned because of the complexity it requires to implement. Something I try to maintain with the maps is their 1:1 feel of the original maps but for this railway system to work it would require replacing a bunch of tracks and in my opinion change the feel of the map too much.

ANNOUNCEMENT
Unfortunately I do not have the free time to dedicate to Unturned map making as I once did. I will do my best to patch and maintain this map as needed to keep it working. I want to thank everyone for their support and patience. I hope to return in the future with new projects.

Changelog:
  • Fixed an issue when hosting the map on a server where players are kicked for "missing assets" or "unknown assets".

Example:

"Client and server are both missing unknown asset! ID: b7d6fe14b2c54afa9d3183614a28a4a3
This probably means either an invalid ID was sent by the server,
the ID got corrupted for example by plugins modifying network traffic,
or a required level asset like materials/foliage is missing."

Somefixes, some changes
Changelog:
  • Holoman Isle's bunker has been fixed and is able to be accessed again.
  • The Aurora Borealis effect has been removed as it's very bright and not able to be adjusted.
  • The maps fog effect has been removed to allow better visibility. If visibility is still rather low, this is an Unturned limitation.
  • Hawaii's underground "darkness" effect has been lowered drastically.
  • Updated loading screen as the map is no longer in "Early Access".

A lot of unlisted various issues were fixed as well thanks to your bug reports!

Monolith update and minor adjustments
Changelog:
  • Monolith now features a crashed UFO and the Scorpion-7 research team on scene to investigate. It has all new spawns from the Canada and Yukon table. There will also be a Mega zombie near the center of the structure offering high tier Yukon/Canada loot. Corrected to use PEI stone instead of Russia as well.
  • Airdrops have been added to the map in certain locations. 3 per map, with 1 always being in the capital or main city. (We recommenced using the Airdrop Manager plugin when using the map on a server.)
  • Adjusted the train tracks leading from Yukon into Monolith.
  • Updated GPS and Chart to reflect map changes.

First live bugfix patch
Changelog:
  • Removed countless floating objects from OOB that was ported over with my Canada map. I've since gone and changed the original map to have better merge compatibility to correct this for future maps.
  • Tweaked Safezone and Deadzone node sizes around Hawaii and Russia.
  • Adjusted lightning to be a little less bright with less fog as well to see the map better. Even with full render distance and no fog the map is still not visable. I believe this is a game limitation or setting.
  • Updated config.json, workshop preview image and loading screen.

  • Corrected navmeshes to fix horde beacon quests for Hawaii.
  • Added dark haze effect to areas where it's supposed to be dark. (This is because the ambiance effect does not work on insane maps as they are not longer supported.)
  • Tweaked material transitions around the map.
  • Re-added foliage.blob as it is reason for the large file size but without foliage the map feels very incomplete.
