Update: 30 May, 2023 @ 5:17pm

  • The Drowned Prophet's Abyssal Crusade no longer drains the populations of Abyssal Cities, as that removed hard-earned victory points.
  • Breathless Hordes should be a little more relentless with their attacks
  • Breathless Hordes should no longer attack SWWF
  • Breathless rulers will be a little more eager to spawn in Breathless Hordes once the Abyssal Crusade has been called

Update: 31 Mar, 2023 @ 4:54pm

  • Cleaned up a bit of code

Update: 26 Mar, 2023 @ 12:50pm

  • The kingdom that the Drowned Prophet spawns in should now immediately declare war instead of shrugging its shoulders and going "well THAT just happened"
  • The Drowned Prophet should be slightly more motivated to invade kingdoms on other continents instead of complaining that they're too far away and doesn't feel like putting in the effort
  • Fixed a bug where, if the Drowned Prophet's kingdom collapses, the surviving rulers of the conquered human settlements will leave the throne forever empty while they play musical chairs on who should be heir of what.
  • If the Prophet's Landing is spawned in a minor settlement, the Drowned Prophet's kingdom will keep that as its capital instead of moving it to the first city it conquers.
  • Cleaned up some code to guard against null errors when it comes to rulers wanting to destroy or help their local Deep Ones

Update: 16 Feb, 2023 @ 8:09pm

  • The Drowned Prophet will now be summoned with a few Breathless acolytes.
  • If the Drowned Prophet is summoned in a human kingdom, that kingdom will immediately declare war on the Drowned Prophet.
  • If the Drowned Prophet is killed and Holy Orders are enabled, the holy order's remnants will no longer be stuck in forever wars against human kingdoms.
  • If the Drowned Prophet is killed and Holy Orders are enabled, the holy order's remnants will now properly start with the Abyssal Faith tenet at -1 influence.
  • If the Drowned Prophet is killed and Holy Orders are enabled, the remnant's human acolytes should now properly be motivated to conduct holy challenges.
  • If a Drowned Prophet Cult successfully coups a ruler after the Drowned Prophet is killed and Holy Orders are enabled, the ruler's kingdom will automatically declare war on the remnant Holy Order.
  • If Holy Orders are disabled, the Drowned Prophet will now spawn in with a kingdom instead of a holy order.
  • If Holy Orders are disabled, the player now has a challenge in the Drowned Prophet's Landing that will allow them to take direct control of the Drowned Prophet (requires an empty agent slot and 3 Elder Power).
  • If Holy Orders are disabled, the Drowned Prophet should have access to all their Hymns from the start.
Halved the complexity of the Hymn of Transformation challenge
  • Abyssal Priests will now be less inclined to evangelize for the Deep Ones within the Drowned Prophet's territory

Update: 10 Feb, 2023 @ 12:57pm

Update: 1 Feb, 2023 @ 9:42pm

  • Updated to be compatible with 0.12
  • The Drowned Prophet's holy order should no longer be motivated to declare wars on evil-aligned nations like Orcs and the Dark Empire. However, for lore reasons it may still target Ophanim theocracies.
  • Fixed a null error with one of the Abyssal rituals spawning
  • (Hopefully) fixed the Drowned Prophet not being able to be recruited even if you have an available agent slot
  • The Waterlogged Charm will no longer give your agents 2 XP a turn
  • Added new ritual for the Waterlogged Charm: Pray to the Deep. More often than not, your agent will be met with silence. On occasion, something will answer with a random effect.
  • Added new ritual for the Waterlogged Charm: Bury Charm. Doing this will add the Buried Charm modifier to the location, which can lead to random effects occurring. Your agents can amplify the effect with the Boost Effect challenge
  • Added new Abyssal item: Shimmering Scales. You can sell them at a market. Uninfiltrated markets will give you 20 gold. Infiltrated markets will give you 40 gold. Infiltrated markets while playing as Mammon will give you 80 gold.
  • Added new Abyssal item: Strange Meat. Agents can eat it for a temporary boost to Might and Attack, but their maximum HP will be lowered. In infiltrated locations, your agents can use Strange Meat to add the Tainted Food Supply modifier, which will hinder a location's Plague Immunity.
  • Added new ruler interaction for Abyssal Corpses that allows them to plunder it for food to reduce Famine.
  • Added new ruler interaction for Abyssal Corpses that allows them to plunder it for a boost in gold and prosperity.
  • Added new ruler interaction for Abyssal Corpses that allows them to destroy it to reduce local Unrest
  • Added new hero challenge where they can study Abyssal Corpse to gain the Deep One Specialist trait

Update: 9 Dec, 2022 @ 10:54pm

  • The Fisherman's Dump Haul challenge now reduces a small amount of menace
  • Added a challenge at Deep One Sanctums that allows you to summon an Abyssal Ritualist
  • A Sanctum's Abyssal Locus will now start out at 50% charge when the Sanctum is created

Update: 6 Dec, 2022 @ 4:00pm

  • Fixed an error that occurred if you gave a ruler a Waterlogged Charm

  • Silent Prayers can now also reduce the society menace of the Children of the Drowned
  • Lowered ruler motivation to join the Drowned Prophet
  • The Unified Faith tenet now only converts Deep One cults on the turn its activated, instead of constantly converting them. It will reset to 0 influence once it has converted all existing cults, allowing you to convert any ones that might form in the future.
  • You should now be prompted to choose a trait for the Fisherman the moment you recruit him, similar to other unique agents.
  • The Chosen One's Deep One Conclave challenge will no longer spawn in if the option to have conclaves is disabled
  • Added 3 midchallenge events that can fire for your agents if they're in a location with a deep one cult
