Overview

Happy Deltarune Chapter 3 / 4 release!

Queen was... a mess. She didn't really have a coherent design concept besides "reference Deltarune". I guess she still felt in character to some extent, but there is way more that could be done. For example... why doesn't she fight with her chair? It's the main "weapon" she makes use of. This combined with the lack of a moveset direction has led to this new concept. In her chair, Queen becomes a "bag-of-tricks" zoner, throwing a wide variety of projectiles and long ranged attacks to keep the opponent out. Once her chair is destroyed, she does the same thing as the original game: run. She loses most of her abilities in exchange for quick movement, becoming a pretty bad character otherwise. This has made her a way more faithful character, and in my opinion way more fun.

Animations [VISUAL]

Added entrance animation.
Added victory animation.
Added taunt.
Animations are now significantly more fluid and distinct.
Added custom sounds from Deltarune.
Animations are significantly different to account for the new moveset concept.

Hover Throne [NEW MECHANIC]

Queen now has two forms, with and without her chair.
Queen loses the chair after taking 100%.

Note

For the patch notes, WC will denote "With Chair" and CL will denote "Chairless".

Hurtbox shaped to Queen's body in WC.

Decreased speed by 42.8% in WC.

Decreased acceleration by 16.6% in WC.

Increased multiplier by 8.33% in WC.

Increased jumps by 1 in WC.

Defense Multiplier [BUFF]

Increased multiplier by 78.9% in WC.
Increased multiplier by 5.26% in CL.

Size Multiplier [REWORK]

Increased multiplier by 2.36% in WC and CL.


Landing Lag [BUFF]

Decreased lag by 2f in CL.

WC Jab [NEW MOVE]

The finger point has been replaced with an advancing kick.

CL Jab [NERF]

Startup increased from 1f to 2f.
Active time decreased from 6f to 3f.
Endlag increased from 5f to 8f.
Damage increased from 2% to 3%.
Base knockback increased from 8.0 to 5.0.
Knockback scaling decreased from 0.06 to 0.035.
Can now be canceled into any tilt (but not itself).

WC Forward Tilt [NEW MOVE]

The Tasque Manager whip has been replaced with an acid glass splash.

CL Forward Tilt [NEW MOVE]

The Tasque Manager whip has been replaced with a glass slam with a chance to explode.

WC Up Tilt [NEW MOVE]

The wireframe head explosion has been replaced with a kick into a punch.

CL Up Tilt [NEW MOVE]

The wireframe head explosion has been replaced with an arm swing.

WC Down Tilt [NEW MOVE]

The pie slam has been replaced with a footrest extension.

CL Down Tilt [NEW MOVE]

The pie slam has been replaced with a low kick.

Dash Attack [NEW MOVE]

The vase toss has been replaced with a spike slam.

Forward Strong [NEW MOVE]

The Werewerewire swing has been replaced with a giant hand slap.

Up Strong [NEW MOVE]

The pan toss has been replaced with a fire arc.

Down Strong [NEW MOVE]

The foot slam has been replaced with a vase toss.

WC Neutral Air [NEW MOVE]

The double sided push has been replaced with a short range electric multihit.

CL Neutral Air [NERF]

Startup increased from 3f to 4f.
Active time decreased from 14f to 5f.
Endlag decreased from 2f to 8f.
Removed sourspot.
Damage decreased from 7% to 5%.
Launch angle changed from 45 to 40.

Forward Air [NERF]

Has recieved a new animation.
Startup increased from 5f to 6f.
Endlag increased from 8f to 10f.
Is now a projectile.
Damage increased from 4% to 6%.
Base knockback decreased from 8.0 to 7.0.
Knockback scaling decreased from 0.09 to 0.075.
Launch angle changed from 50 to 45.
Hitbox Size:
Completely redone since it is now a projectile.

Back Air [NEW MOVE]

The wireframe head explosion has been replaced with a castle stab.

Up Air [NEW MOVE]

The double icon attack has been replaced with a double arm swing.

Down Air [NEW MOVE]

The fire wave attack has been replaced with a dark spotlight flash.

Neutral Special : Laser Screen [NEW MOVE]

The projectile shield has been replaced with a summonable turret-like screen.

CL Special : Baseball Toss [NEW MOVE]

The projectile shield has been replaced with a reworked version of the old side special.

Side Special : Wireframe Head [NEW MOVE]

The baseball has been replaced with a floating exploding head.

Up Special : Eject [NEW MOVE]

The flight has been replaced with a large ejection jump.

Down Special : Acid Shield [NEW MOVE]

The glass toss has been replaced with a reworked version of the old neutral special that can now be placed.

Grab [REWORK]

Startup increased from 7f to 8f.
Active time increased from 1f to 5f.
Endlag decreased from 18f to 12f.

Endlag increased from 7f to 11f.
