Update: 30 Dec, 2022 @ 5:31pm

Have no fear, the newest update is here!

As always, please let me know of any bugs this update may cause so I may fix them.

This update will probably be the only major one for this map, and this includes a strong focus on making the early game easier and making it more accessible to the general public. This also includes a beta test of the brutus rework a replacement for the brutus annhilator.

Starting Room:

The "fog" returns. Nothing happens until 15 minutes after the map loads, and after the air will become toxic and slowly damage players inside it. I am mainly doing this because Night of Doom was designed in a way where that room is not safe to stay in long term. Without it, it is way too easy to survive. Why deal with Leslie, or the snow, when you can just stay in the starting room?

A pistol is now buyable in this room to make the early rounds more consistent.

Chapter 1:

All guns reduced by about 15% again.

All lanterns have their clips removed, you may now freely move through them.

The doors leading to Chapter 2 have been reduced a little.

Chapter 2:

The perk slot door's price reduced from 20,000 to 16,000.

Chapter 3:

Leslie's tick rate has been updated to match Night Of Doom's. His damage has been decreased a lot to compensate. He is basically the same but less robotic and more human in movement.

A new door that contains quick revive appears.

Chapter 4:

Snow damage and tick rate changed a bit, but the dps is about the same.

Other stuff:
All cat triggers now meow.
The cat trigger that makes green light appear in Chapter 3 has been removed, since I believe the flashlight no longer bugs in coop.
The money sharing has been reduced from 3,000 to 2,000 to make it easier to share points.

BETA changes:

Please note, everything I say below is referring to Night of Doom, but this map applies as well.

"So long, partner" - The Brutus Annhilator has been removed completely from the map and replaced with a a new cat trigger. This cat trigger will give permanent shield regeneration to all players. It scales a bit just like the gold in the similar doors. The less players in the party, the more regen you will get. Note: the numbers below = the number of members in your party.

Why is the sniper being removed? I'm going to be honest, I don't think anyone actually uses it. It was originally designed as a forceful choice for coop only to deal with the extra health brutus had in the past, but even then, the damage was still abysmally low and never a good choice. Even after buffing it, it still seems too hard to balance because it either almost always one shots or it's useless. A main issue with it is a forces the player to use up a gun slot, and there is no way to really deal with that, and it's impossible to balance since it's a free gun. Overall, I believe going this direction is significantly better for the map as shield regeneration is a lot more appealing.

Chapter 1 cat:
1. 15% of max hp
2. 10% of max hp
3. 5% of max hp
4. 2.5% of max hp

Chapter 2 cat:
1. 20% of max hp
2. 15% of max hp
3. 10% of max hp
4. 5% of max hp

Chapter 3 cat
1. 25% of max hp
2. 20% of max hp
3. 15% of max hp
4. 10% of max hp

Please note that the regeneration only occurs once a new round starts. After round 35, this regeneration will instead be changed from round based to time based.

Once round 35 starts, your shield will gain health every 15 seconds equal to.
1. 40
2. 20
3. 10
4. 5

As this is still in testing, there might be an issue somewhere and some stuff might be too strong or too weak, and is subject to change.

The Brutus Rework:

The Brutus rework's goal is to fix his three major problems.
1. Unlimited Brutus = unlimited powerups, if you know how to abuse it.
2. In the late game, you rarely even see Brutus anymore, especially with lots of party members. The difference between round 40 and 45 with lots of party members is so long.
3. He isn't nearly as much of a scaling threat as I envisioned him to be, especially since his base health is actually lower than normal. For a map that is supposed to be insanely difficult, this is quite strange.

My main goal is not to make the map "harder", it's already hard enough. My main goal is to fix the issues he has and to make him feel like a more unique boss. So without further ado, here are the changed I made to Brutus.

Brutus has a lot more music and voicelines added that are different than his usual ones that I find fitting.

Brutus no longer stuns or slows the players when they are hit, unless if the player in invulnerable.

Brutus will always self-destruct after five minutes has passed since he spawned.

Brutus no longer spawns in multiples of 4 on round 25+, instead it has been changed to round 70 and now spawns up to 20. Note: This is for players who want to stay in the game longer and is for a future update where I will insert a trigger that will remove the time limits at the end of the game for anyone who wants to stay longer or do a high round challenge or something.

Round 25 base health increased from 2,000 to 2,500
Round 30 base health increased from 2,000 to 3,000
Round 35 base health increased from 2,000 to 3,500
Round 37+ base health increased from 2,000 to infinite. Brutus will still self destruct after five minutes.
Round 37+ damage decreased from 75 to 35

Starting on round 37, Brutus will now spawn every two rounds, in addition to his normal spawning of every five rounds.

So, 37, 39, 40, 41, 43, 45, 47,,, etc

Please let me know if any bugs occur from this update. I did test it, but there was a lot and I can't test some stuff in coop.

Another thanks to vnuser for helping me scripting to make this update.
