Compatibility
~ Adjusted Palutena’s Guidance dialogue to have correct grammar.

Alternate Colors
~ Adjusted a variety of alternate colors to be more vibrant and have better shading colors.

Abyss Runes
~ Changed Rune A: “Properties now start with 1 House.” -> Properties now start with 2 Houses.”
~ Changed Rune B: “DATTACK now gains access to the property speed boost by holding forward during startup.” -> “DATTACK goes faster by holding forward and is jump-cancelable on hit.”
~ Changed Rune C: “Hitting opponents yields more cash than usual. Opponents in hitstun yield even more!” -> “Gain double cash on hit. Opponents in hitstun yield 3x cash.”
~ Changed Rune E: “Dying now converts your current percent to cash instead of losing cash.” -> “Passively gain Cash as time passes.”
~ Changed Rune F: “USPECIAL now travels further and doesn't put Mr. Monopoly into pratfall.” -> “USPECIAL has better movement speeds and has no pratfall.”
~ Changed Rune G: “Properties now automatically upgrade by 1 House if they hit someone.” -> “Properties gain 1 House on hit and no longer have House decay.”
~ Reworded Rune I Description: “Hold Special during NSPECIAL to guarantee rolling doubles. Bailing from Jail is also now free.” -> “Guarantee NSPECIAL doubles by holding Special. Bailing jail is free.”
(This is kinda random but I wanted to spice up some of his existing Abyss Runes a bit to make some of them just a bit more interesting to use.

Forward Air
~ Base Hitpause: 6 -> 8
~ Hitpause Scaling: .6 -> .65
(Should make this move less of a DI jumpscare to get hit by.)

Down Strong (Community Chest)
+ Now ACTUALLY has a unique Cash yield multiplier on hit. All cash generated from this move is multiplied by 1.5.
(Despite this being in the character’s description, I never actually coded that. Oops.)

Down Special (Property Management)
~ Fixed hurtbox.

- Finishing Hitbox Angle: 80 -> 90

(this move was kinda silly)

Neutral Special (Doubles)
+ Upon successfully parrying an opponent while in Jail, Mr. Monopoly will be bailed out of Jail.
(jail is kinda funny but i think parrying something while in jail and it not doing anything was kinda boring)

Down Special (Property Management)
- House decay timer: 1020 frames -> 900 frames
- When parrying a Property, it will completely go away, regardless of the amount of Houses it has. The exception to this rule is when the Property has a Hotel. In this case, it will revert to having no Houses.
(these were pretty toxic ngl)

~ Adjusted spike hitbox visual effect to be the large one.

Forward Strong
+ Knockback Scaling: 1 -> 1.05
(This move is literally just shovel knight fstrong stats wise but a Lot slower in terms of startup and endlag.)

Down Strong (Community Chest)
+ 1st Hit Angle Flipper: 0 -> 4 (Horizontal knockback sends toward the center of the hitbox)
(Should make connecting the two hits together more consistent.)

Neutral Special (Doubles)
~ When one of the dice thrown is destroyed, the other one will also be instantly destroyed as well, preventing scenarios where if one of them was destroyed by an opponent’s attack but not the other, the other die would just sit there for a while.
~ Fixed an error code from appearing when afterimages from doubles appear.

Up Special (Private Jet)
+ Adjusted momentum when starting the move.
+ Rising Frames: 60 -> 72
+ Mr. Monopoly now starts to rise very slightly faster with this move (.5 vsp per second -> .65 vsp per second).

Down Special (Property Management)
+ When a Property hits someone, the timer for House decay now resets.
+ House decay timer: 900 frames -> 1020 frames
+ Property Hitbox Hitstun Multiplier, ordered from no Houses up to a Hotel: 0.3, 0.4, 0.5, 0.6, 0.7, 0.7 -> 0.4, 0.5, 0.6, 0.7, 0.8, 1
(Should make property house decay take a little longer if you play your cards right and keep them with Houses for a little longer before your opponent inevitably parries them and gets rid of them.)

Patch Notes:

General
~ Added a CSS Select sound.
~ The positioning of the alternate color name on the CSS is now slightly moved to not be hidden by the player icon on the CSS if playing online.
~ Re-exported the Steam Preview image to make it less blurry.
~ Optimized the image files for the CSS icons. (They are now in a single image strip instead of being multiple images. This probably doesn’t affect anything but w/e)

Neutral Special (Doubles)
~ The projectile sprite for throwing the dice now slightly varies depending on the real value of the dice. (In other words, the sprite for the does not always show the side it currently does when thrown. The predetermined value of the dice now shows as the topmost side of it when thrown.)

Forward Special (Moneybags)
- Fixed a bug where if you were hit out of this move when trying to throw a property, you would drop a 3rd property if hit out of this move’s endlag.

~ Adjusted the vertical offset of the vfx that plays when Mr. Monopoly leaves the Race Car.

~ Adjusted the vertical offset of the vfx that plays when the Community Chest vanishes.

Neutral Special (Doubles)
~ Fixed a bug where if Dice where left still after hitting the ground, they would block projectiles.

Down Special (Property Management)
- Properties attack startup: 3 frames -> 6 frames (hitbox comes out on frame 4 -> hitbox comes out on frame 7).
- Properties’ vertical detection range of opponents is now slightly smaller.
~ Both of the above changes do not apply to opponents not in hitstun.
+ Fixed a bug where if parrying a Property and if Mr. Monopoly was standing on said property, the property hitbox would hit Mr. Monopoly.

Dash Attack (Race Car)
- When this move is parried, Mr. Monopoly will now come to a complete halt, making punishing him easier.
- Additionally, Mr. Monopoly will now go into parry stun when this move is parried.

Neutral Special (Doubles)
~ Dice now bounce off of walls when thrown at them. This also fixes a bug where if a die were to land on the very edge of a stage, it would disappear.

Neutral Special (Doubles)
~ You can now use Neutral Special again when the Doubles boost is active. If you roll Doubles in this state, more time will be added to how long Doubles lasts as well as the boost in speed. Not rolling doubles while in the doubles state now prematurely ends the Doubles boost.

Forward Special (Moneybags)
- If Mr. Monopoly is hit out of this move when throwing a property, it will go flying upward instead of being dropped at his feet, preventing possible situations where you would be punished for hitting Mr. Monopoly when he is throwing his property.

Up Special (Private Jet)
~ Fixed a bug where performing Up Air out of this move and whiffing would not give you pratfall.

Down Special (Property Management)
- Properties now start to decay if left idle for about 10 seconds. A visual indicator and sound effect will pop up to alert you of this. Once this threshold has been passed, 1 House will start to remove itself every 4 seconds until no Houses remain. This timer can be stopped by throwing the property or building Houses on it. This timer will not be active if no Houses are present on the property. Mr. Monopoly will get back half the money he spent on a House when this happens.
- Parrying properties now works differently. Parrying a property with any Houses or Hotels on it will remove ALL of them and leave a blank property. Parrying a property without any Houses will remove the property. This change should make dealing with and getting rid of properties much easier in addition to the above change.
+ Increased time it takes for properties to be able to start hitting people when it spawns, making it harder for people to instantly get rid of it when it spawns (30 frames -> 60 frames).

- Parrying a Property now makes it lose 2 Houses instead of 1 House. This means that a Property will now vanish when parried if it has either 1 or no Houses.
