this is it, Scorpion is officialy finished!! i'm so happy and rpoud of it, this was such a long journey for me, but now it's over and i learned a lot of in this process. the most important lesson it's to not launch something that isn't finished just to show what are you working, i had a huge boom in popularity but the character was not even a quater done, and i'm not making the same mistake twice.

every remaining animation has been added as well as the sound effects for Scorpion. this includes the official UMK3 voice and the GET OVER HERE effect, you will feel that you are playing Scorpion in Fraymakers.

his assist is also finished, it was a walk in the park compared to the character and it also comes with the GET OVER HERE soound effect.

i also changed the thumbnail to somnething more interesting, the last thumbnail i put was kind of curse and before it was just scorpion in a black background, this at least is eye catching.

finally, i have to talk about the balance patch with this update:

ground and air speed were slightly increased
weight increased from 102 to 105
side special and up special are no longer mutually exclusive
side special no longer makes scorpion fall but can only be used once unless you are hitted or touch the stage
up special doesn't put you into freefall if you hit the oponent
down throw knockback growth increased, reducing it's usefulness at high percent
foward thro was fixed, now it will hit any foe regardless of the size.

this is the end of Scorpion development, but this is not the end of the support, Scorpion will be given monthly updates based on feed back until january 4th 2024. this is for him to find a place in the competive meta, if we get one. but also done to improve the expierience for anyone who plays him.

the finals news is that, with Scorpion finished, i'll be able to put all my energy in my next character. I won't promise i'll finish him before 2024, because i don't have the time for that. but just like scorpion, i'll finish what i have already started. my next character will be Marth from Fire Emblem.

i've enjoyed the development of Scorpion and i hope you enjoy to play him.

hello again, this update includes all his throws, all of them are animated and working correctly.
this update includes something i promised you a while ago, Scorpion's assist is also coming with this update. Scorpion will throw his kunai towards the direction you are looking, the first oponent it hits will be pulled towards you and he will be stunned so that you can punish him however you want.

at this rate, it won't take more than 3 updates to finish him. stay tunned becuase i will reveal thenext character i'll make in fraymakers.

also, i completely forgot i changed the thumbnail, i'll have a better one for the next update.

0.1.1 reached and the main moveset is finisished, The side/special and the down strong are added in this changelog.

side special is an alternate version of up special, telelport. it goes only side ways and holding the special button will move him diagonally downwards.
down special is toasty, scorpion shoots a deadly fireball diagonally downwards. it deals a lot of damages and kills near the ledge. it is a high commitment attack and the fireball can be reflected.
down strong is spamabale, but doesn't have much power. an easy return to neutral attack.

balance patch:
scorpion physics has been altered to make him slower both in the ground and in the air.
foward air and neutral air knockbackgrowth has reduced slightly for them to be viable combo tools up to mid porcent, but stop being viable after %70
neutral special has a five second cooldown if used in the ground.

hello, Scorpion has oficially reached 0.1.0 version. this desicion came from how much of both his moveset and his animation is finished. there only 4 moves left to do and a few animations from tech and ledge to finish, the total amount of process is around %73.
also, i wanted to do this update because, i don't belive i will do any update to scorpion in april. this is because of my studies, NOT the character, and therefore, i won't have much time to work for him. But i'll try to work him from time to time.
i know that Scorpions assist is missing, the truth is, it was a headache. i'm using the assist to rework his most glitchy move, the kunai or GET OVER HERE. my attempt to make the move work like intended have failed. i won't get technical but longstory short, i can't make scorpion go from his throwing kunai animation to him bringing his opponent close animation on hit. this means that, weather you hit your oponent or not, he will do his bringing his oponent close animation.

finally, here is the balance change and new animations:
new animations:
up special (Teleport)
foward tilt
tumble
crash land

balance changes:
up tilt: it sents upward his oponents instead of horizontal.
jab1: changed the angle that it sents so that you can get out easier from the attack. it's staetup is 2 frames slower
foward strong: increased knockbackgrowth of the last hit, now it kills earlier.
foward air: the startup is slower by 2 frames.
back air: the startup is slower by 4 frames. the sweetspot and sourspot last longer (sweetspot: 2 frames, sourspot: 5 frames)
neutral special air(Kunai): the arieal version of Kunai is used for recovery instead of combos, it still deals damage.

there was also an animation rework, to make sure scorpions animations are smooth, you will notice it when he runs.

after a little break from fraymakers, i'm back.
i must tell you that i'm in college studying videogame development and that the next four months i will be studying. right now is not a big deal, but as time passes, i will spend less time developing scorpion to focus more with my studies.
regardless, i will continue scorpion development until the end of the year, and i will finish his animations before then.
now, here is what 0.0.4 brought to fscorpion.
new animations:
-landing up air animation
- landing neutral air animation
- foward strong
balance:
-reduce knockback and knockback grow on down tilt
-change the angles on down tilt
-scorpions mobility has been reduced, amking him slower (though, his wave dash is the same as before, use it to get closer with your oponent)

that's all that i have to say. 0.0.5 will include scorpions asisst.
