- Final animations for lance elephants (Bakhtarband Hathy) now in place and fully integrated.
- Parameters for war elephants (Bakhtarband Hathy, Shahi Hathy, Archer ellies and Ballista ellies) finalised. Some of them have also found new homes with the ballista ellie providing support as a heavy cav unit for the Khmers.

It would seem then that the hardest part of this mod is done. However,

- Parameters for most units still remain messed up and unbalanced.
- Indic civs (Hoysala-Tamils, Khmers) do NOT have proper skins for units and civs.

Some thoughts.

- We can reuse our Chola skins for South Asian units, but spearmen should not be naked. We have a guy in armour, we also need another with short sleeves and pants!
- Secondary spearman can be created by using a Malay setinggar unit we created for Rise of the Moderns.

Civs and Patriots have been confirmed to be done so no need to worry about those. So e only need to worry about military units, viz horsemen, jav cav, and of course, infantry - militia, spears, archers and cbowmen.

- Some files pertinent to Elephant Lancers done.
- anim.graphics.xml amended. Was found to be defective since it did not reference new anims created for war elephants with Swords of the Prophets.

First round of attack and idle files manufactured for elephant lancers. Still need elephant lancers, elephants and mahouts to also do attackwalk anims, and for elephant lancers to have a new walk animation.

New icons added.
Imperial Gajah has been superseded by Shahi Hathy - just as well.
The skins for both Elephant Archers and Shahi Hathy are complete as are their sounds. It's just that they aren't properly balanced although we expect the Armoured Elephant or Bakhtarband Hathy to have the same stats as the imperial Gajah but have a melee attack as opposed to a ranged one.

How we get this unit to have a melee attack is beyond me especially since it needs new animations for its back rider.

Some good news - we have all the units we need. It took far less time and resources than I had feared.
Gupta mahouts were also found to have been encased in heavy scale mail. So we can mix and match them at will with the 6 Indo-Muslim elephant models. So we should start concentrating on adding these elephant units to Project Yesugei now.

The problem however, is that the lance attack animations for the Rajput heavy elephant are still outstanding. Perhaps e should worry about these later, and concentrate on all the elephant archers first!

In the meantime, this update compiles all the BH3 files we will ever need for elephant units in this mod.

Finally, Hoysala figures are complete and ready to go. A new sheet along with 4 different models representing 4 different Hoysala elephant riders (2 mahouts, 2 archers) has been added, alongside the Vietnamese heavy and light elephant archers.

We are still in trouble, though.

Indo-Rajput elephant.
- Find the old neo-Gupta mahouts for Project 666. Check on them and see if they can be reused. Break them up and redistribute, if possible.
- Lancers for said elephant. Look for Rise of the Moderns' spearmen for India and convert. Not easy, most likely we will be using a cavalry unit as a model. Animations will also be hell.

Probable units for conversion:

- spear_india from Rise of the Moderns,
- archer_composite

Heavy elephant
- armmilit_turkey2, spear_india2 can be converted into Mahouts.
- Archers? swordsman_muslim from Rise of Kings., armmilit_turkey should be converted into archers.
