Bug fixes in this update:

  • Worked around an issue preventing some detail objects from rendering.



Known MCC engine issues (only 343 can fix these):
  • Vehicle camera speed on controller is too slow, especially in "Classic" control mode. (This is unrelated to the vehicle turn speed, which works as intended.)
  • All environment geometry disappears if the render limit is exceeded.
  • HUD elements are severely darkened when HUD Style is forced to "Remastered." (We strongly recommend setting HUD Style to "Auto.")

  • Weapons have incorrect aim and no zoom function when used in a Warthog's passenger seat.
  • Covenant shield barrier doesn't regenerate if disabled by a vehicle impact.

Precipice - Version 1.1.4

This update restores compatibility with the latest MCC version. Issues fixed by the MCC patch:

  • Scripts now run in client games, fixing sync issues with the beam emitter under the map.

This is a quick hotfix to ensure the map can be played after the latest MCC update. No user-facing changes have been made.

This MCC update has neither resolved any known issues, nor introduced any new ones.

  • Changed starting equipment to Assault Rifle & Pistol in all game modes except Race.
  • Adjusted Race spawn points to prevent accidental overlap, and to ensure a vehicle is reliably available.

Bug fixes in this update:
  • Fixed darkening artifacts on environment materials.
  • Fixed HUD meters not scaling correctly when "Auto HUD Scale" is enabled.
  • Fixed HUD pickup icons potentially overlapping a message on the next line.
  • Mitigated a slight color difference between grenade HUD numbers and weapon HUD numbers.
  • Recompressed UI bitmaps using new MCC features, improving quality while dramatically reducing map size.
  • Fixed a minor glitch in the Assault Rifle's ready animation.
  • Fixed a bitmap sequencing issue in Needler detonation decals, which was preventing some sequences from being selected.
  • Fixed missing Shotgun spawn by the red base.
