Change Notes:

New Electrical system overhaul.

Compartments that flood will loose power when water reaches the Electrical panels. This will effect engines and motors as well. If water shorts out the main power panel in the Aft Battery compartment (the galley) the whole ship will short out. If the forward battery room is still dry you will still be able to use emergency lights.

Implosion system

The ship will begin to leak water into the pressure hull at 255 feet. if the ship goes below 260 feet you will risk the ship imploding. at 300 feet the ship will instantly implode.

New camera for main periscope

the new camera controls allow you to steady the camera.

Recovery Air Valves

If the sub sinks in shallow enough water you will now be able to recover the sub. 4 hose connectors will allow you to pump the water out of the pressure hull with recovery equipment.

Hull Opening Indicator Board (Christmas Tree)

This handy board will show if hatches are rigged for dive. Each hatch now has a rig for dive key that will lock the hatch.
Forward Hatch, Weapon Shipping hatch, Bridge Hatch, Engine room hatch, Aft Escape hatch. in addition to this an indicator will also show that the engine valves are secure. To secure the engines make sure that the Exhaust pump and Air intake pumps are off for both engines. When the Christmas tree is all green you are rigged for dive!

Exhaust

After reviewing a few photos we discovered that the exhaust system on the ship was reconfigured in the 1940s to the stern. The engines are slightly more efficient in this configuration in stormworks netting around 200 more electrical units generated per engine.

AMP hours and RPM

The sub now converts the charge on the battery and the RPS from the engine into the units that were on the real boat.
4000 amp hours per battery bank and RPM for both engines. Each engine should run around 350-370 RPM which is what the real engines ran at.

Texture Fixes

Several texture issues were fixed.

Ladder slide

I removed the slide ladder in the torpedo room after testing with reloading torpedoes. The ladder needs to be removed completely to be able to reload torpedoes. The collision box still blocked the torpedo regardless of the slide position.

Speed issue

Underwater speed issues developed after an update. This has been resolved.

Radio/Hydrophone room light.

I added a spotlight in the radio / hydrophone room. This will give you some idea where the buttons and configurations are in the room without having to use a flashlight or turn on the rooms main light. we also added panel lights to help with this. these are activated by sitting in the chair. (In multiplayer, standard lights bleed through the hull and will give away your position to other players who may be trying to find you. spotlights and flash lights do not bleed through the hull allowing you to remain hidden.)
