Added 3 new ConVars to instantly kill certain entities:

  • genkidamaInstakillPlayers
  • genkidamaInstakillNPCs
  • genkidamaInstakillNextBots

Added a kill icon.

The genkidama no longer shrinks at a constant rate, but faster, the longer it is idle.

Added Lighting!
The genkidama is now emits light, depending on its size.
Because lighting can have a huge performance impact, there are now two new ConVars to modify the lighting.
If you want to save performance, you can set any of these two variables to 0 to disable the lighting!

  • genkidamaLightRadiusMult
    This is a multiplier for the emitted light.
    For example: At 2.0, the light has double the range.

  • genkidamaLightRadiusLimitMult
    This variable limits the maximum light output, to prevent losing too much FPS.
    At the default value of 1.0, the light will only get more intense until the genkidama has reached its default 100% size.
    If the value is set to 5.0, then the light will increase until the genkidama has reached 5 times its default 100% size.

Players that are lending energy will now have a glowing outline!

Added 3 new ConVars, which can also be changed from the options menu:

  • genkidamaUserEnergyFraction
    This variable can be used to limit how much energy the user of the attack can give themselves.
    For example: If this variable is set to 0.1, then the user alone can only reach 10%, but every other player can give 100% additional charge.

  • genkidamaVRforceButtonsActive
    If you can't use the addon in VR, this might help by forcing the buttons to use the attack active.

  • genkidamaVRdebugButtons
    This shows the VR button presses in the chat. This can be used to find the boolean_reload and boolean_primaryfire buttons, which are used to control the attack.

Fixed some issues with the dissolver:

  • Parts of a vr player, like the right arm, should no longer disappear after an explosion.
  • Props no longer get dissolved if genkidamaDissolveProps is set to false, while genkidamaDissolvePeople is set to true.

Adjusted how an explosion is triggered:
  • If a player is hit by the spirit bomb, it will now detonate, instead of just killing the player and passing through them and only detonating when an obstacle is hit. But if the spirit bomb is large enough, it will pass through players again.
  • The hit box which triggers an explosion is larger and no longer just a point in the center.

Players inside the blast radius are now blinded.
