Violet V1.33 Update

quick update to latest version. her nebula beam has been updated to latest code similar to geyser and added some plus frames and minus frames to her keymoves. buffing counter stance as it was unjustifiably shot in the kneecaps. most of her projectiles are at least a little plus except for nebula pulse where she'll be minus. made install less annoying ish i think

General Changes:

- Now has new parry
- Increased energy gain from perfect parry from 0.1 to 0.2
- Reduced number of shields during Supernova from 3 to 2
- Supernova energy gain increased from 0.01 to 0.02 per tick but lowered length of install from 420 ticks to 280 ticks

Normals:

Light Kick:
- Increased proration from 1 to 2
Low Kick:
- Reduced forward momentum from 8 to 7
- Increased proration from 1 to 2
Heavy Kick:
- Reduced block knockback
Flip Kick:
- Reduced hitstun of first attack from 30 to 15
Side Kick:
- Reduced forward momentum from 4.0 to 3.0

Specials:

Nebula's Edge (up):
- Reduced hitbox size
Nebula's Edge (aerial):
- Reduced hitbox size
Nebula Crash:
- First hit now vacuums
Impact (3rd hit of grounded rekka):
- First hit now vacuums
Backflip:
- Reduced momentum when grounded from 4.5 to 4.0
- Increased startup of the flip force from frame 1 to 2
Counter Stance:
- Active parry frames start earlier from frame 6 to frame 3 and end one frame later at frame 11
- Reduced recovery from 13 to 10
- Increased hitstun of followup attack from 15 to 30
- Increased damage from 100 to 150
- Increased proration from 1 to 3
- Now launches grounded enemies into the air
Star Stomp:
- Now a guardbreak
Nebula Blast:
- Reduced proration from 5 to 4
- Increased damage from 165 to 170
Star Fall:
- Reduced horizontal hitbox

Supers:

Singularity:
- Now always parryable
- Increased damage from 160 to 200
- Reduced hitstun from 30 to 15
- Increased knockback from 10 to 15
- Now wall slams
- Increased proration 1 to 5
Supernova:
- Reduced block pushback from 10 to 5

Violet V1.32 Update

nerfs babey. drift pulse too spammy so now it not so spammy and easier to punish but still strong
counter and backflip are less degen and surgin star not overtuned anymore. her annoying projectiles
are less annoying and combos with them do less damage. plus frames cuz lol

- Doesn't launch as high anymore
- Crosscut (2nd hit of Nebula's Edge grounded rekka):
- Made hitbox of 2nd hit more accurate to visuals of move
- Added forward momentum
- Surging Star:
- No longer interruptable on opponents turn

- Backflip:
- Invincibility frames start 1 frame later at frame 3 and end 1 frame sooner at frame 7

Violet V1.31 Update

Fixes:
- Fixed bug where being grabbed in Supernova state causes you to be frozen in place
- Fixed visual bug where particles dont stop emitting after Supernova has ended

Violet V1.3 Update

Right now she has really bad matchups so I want to try and make them slightly more winnable in Violet's favour expecially compared to vanilla cast. Right now I'm told she does not fair well against Cowboy and Wizard since their tools respond very well to her projectiles. Basically I made her projectiles les of simply combo filler but actually viable to throw out in neutral ny making some of her key poking projectiles unparriable so that trying to make a read on the opponents movement wont get you punished if they short dash or wait.

Additions:
- New Move: Nebula's Edge - 3 Hit Rekka with either a high, a low, and a rising starter, has aerial versions. Consumes energy.
- Nebula's Edge > Crosscut > Impact (Grounded)
- Nebula's Edge > Nebula Crash (Aerial)
- New Move: Surging Star - Fast projectile that slides along the ground similar to Ninja's whip wave

Buffs:
- C.Rush interruptable on opponents turn so it's more like an airdash
- C.Stance follow has increased hitstun and damage (can combo off of it now) and slightly reduced recovery
- D.Pulse unparriable and reduced recovery slightly
- G.Grenade unparriable and doesnt fizzle on block
- Lo.Kick low profiles a frame sooner like before
- N.Bolt and T.Stars now are not moveable and have increased hitstun
- N.Bolt second hit in rekka now hits low
- N.Beam unparriable again and reduced recovery
- More forward momentum on following attacks:
- Li.Kick
- Lo.Kick
- M.Kick
- F.Kick
- T.Missile consumes less energy

Nerfs:
- D.Pulse damage lowered slightly
- G.Grendade chip damage lowered and causes heavy hitstun instead of knockdown
- N.Beam chip damage and hitstun lowered
- S.Stomp and N.Blast reduced hitstun and hitstop slightly
- S.Fall invincibility starts later
- T.Stars slightly less forward momentum

Changes:
- Fixed Wait being one frame longer than normal
- Fixed N.Beam arm animation and hit effect
- Added particle effects during S.Fall
- Lowered volume for many of her attacks (they were too loud)
- S.Kick no longer land cancellable
- R.Kick rising force applies earlier

Violet V1.2 Update

New update to the game means a bunch of new things to add to Violet. For starters, you can customize her now! (yippee). Some attacks have different knockback values on hit like explosions pushing you away from the center of the hitbox and big attacks having lots of knockback on block. DI for some attacks has been changed to account for combo changes.

Buffs:
- Singularity can now be used multiple times and all exploded at once. (potentially OP but consumes a shit ton of resources)

Nerfs:
- Nerfed throw recovery so that it is harder to combo out of.
- Nerfed N.Pulse. Increased recovery and reduced hitstun and damage slightly.
- Nerfed Passive energy gain. Passive gain on hit is slightly lower and also even lower while in hitstun.
- Nerfed C.Stance startup to be longer and active frames to be shorter. Increased recovery and reduced followup damage.

Changes/Fixes:
- C.Stance has been moved to defense.
- C.Stance and C.Rush are no longer accessable from whiff cancel.
- Fixed N.Beam to be parriable (accidentally made it unparriable)

Violet V1.1 Update

- Buffed passive energy gain and energy gain on hit

- Nerfed Slightly damage on Star Stomp and Supernova

- Nerfed Slightly damage and hitstun of many of her projectiles. She wasnt meant to be able to combo using Nebula Pulse and Nebula Beam. Nubeula Pulse is meant to be more of a poke and Nebula Beam a combo ender.

- Nerfed Galaxy Grenade and Singularity damage. Twas too much.

- Nerfed energy attacks to consume more energy

- Fixed Singularity explosion not showing up on prediction.
