PATCH 1.2 - BALANCE

Buffs to Gf and to ultra.

Side A (Gf)
- The arrows now travel farther, buffing the range of the move.

Running A (Gf)
- Reduced the startup lag of the move.

Forward Aerial (Gf)
- Reduced the startup lag of the move.

Side B (Gf)
- Made the move travel farther.
- Fixed an issue where the move would travel less far on the ground. The grounded and aerial range is now consistent.
- Added more endlag to the move as well as a custom landing animation that makes the move have high landing lag.
- Gave the move super armor when Gf initially dashes forward and while the grab is active.

Ultra
- Reduced the amount of time in which opponents can move before the projectiles begin to fire.

* It's normal for Girlfriend to side on the sidelines while Bf does all the battling until things get really rocky (like imminent death by tankmen). But in Smack Studio, I wanted Gf to feel more usable throughout the whole game instead of just at the very end of the opponent's stock, where even then, she wasn't all that effective. I buffed her approach options and her main pokes, so hopefully she can compete better in the arena and be on more equal footing with her Boyfriend in terms of usefullness.

PATCH 1.1.3 - BALANCE

Just some slight nerfs to BF.

FORWARD AERIAL (BF)
- Buffed the base knockback. (6 -> 8)

STATS
- Nerfed Bf's max air speed. (5 -> 4)

* Bf's ability to dominate neutral with his foward air was kinda crazy. The move could chain into itself and becomes the sole ingredient of some of Bf's bread and butter combos. This nerf to his max air speed and the increase to forward air's base knockback means that he won't be able to chain foward air's as long anymore and will have to be more creative with his combos.

PATCH 1.1.2 - Ultra Rework

ULTRA
- Further nerfed the invincibility.
- Further nerfed the pause time.
- Buffed the size of the projectiles. (+0.3x)
- Buffed the projectile speed. (6 -> 10)

PATCH 1.1.1 - Ultra Balance

ULTRA
- Nerfed the invincibility. The first 10 frames of the move are no longer invincible so that you can interrupt the move if you're close and quick enough.
- Added a 5 frame reaction window where the characters unpause before the ultra begins to fire.
* Ultra was kinda gnarly. It was fully invincible so you could use it freely up close with no risks. This nerf should tone if back and make it less oppressive.

PATCH 1.1 - BALANCE

Like Q and Rook before them, Bf & Gf are a little overtoned. Time to start nerfing them until they're balanced!

NEUTRAL AERIAL (BF)
- Buffed the base knockback. (1-2)
- Buffed the knockback scaling. (0 -> 0.11)
* This makes the move not combo when the opponent is on higher percents. Bf's nair was way too reliable overall.

FORWARD THROW (GF)
- Nerfed the knockback scaling. (0.14 -> 0.11)

BACKWARD THROW (GF)
- Nerfed the knockback scaling. (0.14 -> 0.12)

UP THROW (GF)
- Nerfed the knockback scaling. (0.14 -> 0.11)
* Gf's throws are meant to be strong, but this was a little crazy. This should help balance her out more and keep her early kills restricted to edgeguarding.

PATCH 1.0.1 - Bug and Animation Fixes

Polishing the character(s).

--BUG FIX--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

- There was a bug where Gf's down throw, when used on the ground, could clip some characters through the floor of the stage on Last Stand. This shouldn't occur anymore.

--ANIMATIONS--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

- Changed the match entrance animation. Gf is now on screen longer.

- Fixed an issue where Gf's backward tech roll animation would just play Bf's instead.

--RADAR------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

BF
- I'm considering nerfing Bf's frame data. He seems really good in neutral, but I'm gonna keep playtesting the character.

GF
- Gf, especially when edgeguarding, can MURDER you quite quickly. If the funkin' duo is too overpowered, I will tone down her killpower.
