Showing 1-10 of 10 entries
Update: 10 Nov, 2023 @ 10:26am

Ver. 2.2
- Tweaked a few internal stuff; hopefully it'll improve destruction rate in most cases (such as at 190-200% intensity).
- Oscillation amount slider can now go up to 150%.
- Fixed disabled options being misaligned on experimental/new update branch.

Update: 2 Nov, 2023 @ 3:15pm

Ver. 2.1
- Some minor adjustments to the new damage model introduced in 2.0.
- The Big One: Major improvements to destruction potential.

Update: 28 Oct, 2023 @ 10:26am

Ver. 2.0.1
- Fixed an error if legacy damage mode doesn't find any shapes within the max shaking distance.

Update: 28 Oct, 2023 @ 9:53am

Ver. 2.0
- Several brand new shaking modes have been introduced! Choose between 'Toggle', 'Random occurrence', 'Random (random intensity)', 'Toggle (random intensity)', and 'The Big One'!
--- Toggle: The classic Shaky World mode. When toggled on, the world will continuously shake until toggled off again.
--- Random occurrence: The shaking will occur at random periods, with the duration also randomised.
--- Random (random intensity): Same as above, but the intensity and oscillation will also be randomised for each period of shakiness.
--- Toggle (random intensity): Much like the original mode, the shakiness is toggled on and off; but the intensity and oscillation will randomise every few moments.
--- The Big One: What happens if the shaking goes beyond 200% intensity? When toggled on, the shaking will start off fairly moderate, but it will quickly grow stronger and stronger, until... (a very good CPU or Screen Recorder is recommended)
------ Holding down the 'grab' button while toggling The Big One on will skip straight to the mega shakiness, skipping the moderate build-up beforehand.
- Brand new damage model for +150% intensities! This new model will spread damage across the whole map instead of being limited around the player inside the max shaking radius. The old one (which is more performance efficient) is still available in the options menu, but won't be available for The Big One.
- Overhauled built-in auto-cleaner so that it'll clean up debris quicker with higher intensities and even outside of the max shaking radius.
- Added option to only shake dynamic objects within the camera sight, which could help on performance.
- Added an experimental 'Bouncy mode', where the world will give a periodic jolt that launches the player and objects into the air. This mode isn't affected by the current shaking intensity.
--- Holding the jump button at the right time will give the player an extra high bounce.
- Changed camera shake to use Teardown's built-in camera shake function, which works in vehicles and some custom tools that adjust the player camera. The two custom camera shaking modes are still available.
- Made certain options grey out if they don't apply with the current shaking mode, and the same applies to the camera shake mode if camera shake is disabled.
- Added a new rumbling sound for high intensities starting at +175% with new damage model only; becomes even more prominent at +190% intensities and especially with The Big One.

Update: 2 Sep, 2023 @ 7:05am

Ver. 1.4.1
- Internal: Reset timing cooldowns for object shaking and structural damage when shaking is turned off, so that when re-enabling the camera shake can momentary build up before shaking objects again.

Update: 29 Aug, 2023 @ 1:51pm

Ver. 1.4
- Added new optional Oscillation feature. Two new sliders will adjust how much the current intensity will oscillate and how much frequency the oscillation has. Hopefully it should add a little more spice to the shaking.

Update: 27 Aug, 2023 @ 9:47am

Ver. 1.3
- New camera shaking effect. The old one is still available though the mod's options menu by toggling the "Camera shake type" to 'legacy'.
- Camera shake and rumbling sound will now smoothly fade in/out when toggling the shaking on or off.
- Internal: Moved 'object shake' and 'structural damage' timers to countdown in the 'update' function instead of 'tick'.

Update: 13 Aug, 2023 @ 9:15am

Ver. 1.2
- Added "Shake player character" option. Turning this off will no longer affect the player character's movements.

Update: 8 Aug, 2023 @ 5:14pm

Ver. 1.1
- Updated tooltip for "Max shaking radius" for better clarification.
- Adjusted auto-cleaner so that it'll clean up debris out of view from the player. Should look better with debris raining from higher structures.
- Fixed issue in-game with going to change the toggle key and then not being cancelled when closing and re-opening the menu.
