AI Changes

The AIs now have decadal construction for various resources to restore the relevance of trade routes for the player as a means to acquire resources for their economy or sell to neighboring countries, albeit at a considerable performance cost. These include:
  • Tooling Workshops
  • Steel Mills
  • Coal Mines
  • Iron Mines
  • Lead Mines
  • Sulfur Mines
  • Logging Camps
  • Oil Rigs
  • Silk Plantations
  • Opium Plantations
  • Rubber Plantations

The AIs are now even less aggressive, though this still occurs to some extent.

An infrastructure increase has been added for the AIs to support the construction growth and to accommodate a new state without a connection to the colonizing country's market through two ports that are automatically built if this occurs with the AI.

Bug Fixes

Removed the bug where, during revolutions against the player, states would receive the buffs given to the AIs and then return them to the player upon recapturing those states.

The .txt files are now in the standard UTF-8-BOM encoding.

Fixed an error that destroyed construction sectors even when none remained.

Fixed an error where an attempt to build buildings every 10 years in an invalid state occurred when no further construction possibilities existed in that country.

The AI now responds more quickly to strategic decisions compared to the previous version.
