v1.10 Christmas update - 2009 Imports!

The holidays are ending, which means it's time to return to the boring routine, and the best time to once again dive deep into the pile of dookie that is Serious Sam modding.
I know that this update is very long overdue, but I couldn't find motivation to work on it, and I don't event want to even be here right now.

    The main focus was bringing in all of the newfound assets from the leaked SSHD beta build for the X360[hiddenpalace.org], but I couldn't miss the chance to also further increase the overall quality of the mod. For that reason, several new, extra, but not absolutely necessary additions were made, raising the overall bar and making the mod more appealing, as well as even less mishmashy. So here are the changes:
    • Menu:
      • Complete redesign: an accurate replica of the OGSSHDTFE menu, with correct font, sounds, menulevelframe, and appropriate colors in both HD titles.
      • OGSSHD chat sound
    • Global:
      • Beta wound postprocessing, but without gaussian blur as it's proven too excessive in gameplay.
      • Early SS2-Sam-based player model is now the default.
      • Replaced all of the HUD textures with the ones from the leaked build. Improved existing icon replicas for icons that weren't in the build.
      • Added a scripted recreation of the SS2 corpse sink effect; for default SSHD puppets only. If you resaved the default animset and want to add it to your custom enemy, add "Global script event" anim event called HDBeta_HandleSS2Death to the last frame of every death and/or ragdolltransition animation. Custom enemies that are not set up this way will just vanish into the ether after 10 seconds.
      • OG HDTFE coop portal model (replaces Karnak portal too; has issues with front side reflection, wontfix).
      • Older switch model.
      • Trimmed some unnecessary files.
    • Items:
      • SS2 oscillation animation
      • Changed placement or stretched some health/armor items, changed shader for +50 and +100 pickups.
      • Replaced all particle effects with the beta SS2-looking (not actually SS2) ones; blue for armor, red for health, no particle for ammo... -- this doesn't actually trucking work in-game, only in editor; no idea why, in-game they will randomly select between the correct particle, SSHD particle, or no particle, so that's +1 to the list of "kNoWn iSSues", I guess.
    • Gore skins:
      • "Kids" - old PFX (which is just regular blood splatter recolored to blue), replaced the lollipop and candy models in destruction with older cut ones.
      • "Hippie" - every destruction now drops an apple alongside the carrots.
      • "Halloween" - replaced PFX, but for bullet hit term only.
    • Weapons:
        All - imported correct FP rendering
      • Cannon - SS2 charging sound
      • Chainsaw - better quality texture, fixed blades flickering with serious damage
      • Colt - different muzzleflash
      • Double Shotgun - dirtier texture
      • Grenade Launcher - different nade explosion graphic
      • Knife - imported the original model
      • Laser - correct muzzleflash
      • Minigun - correct muzzleflash
      • Rocket Launcher - original model and sounds
      • Serious Bomb - fixed fuse flickering with serious damage
      • Single Shotgun - imported the original model, different muzzleflash
      • Sniper - correct muzzleflash
      • TommyGun - faster Idle animation, different muzzleflash
    • Enemies:
      • Beheadeds: firecracker - projectiles leave fiery trails; kamikaze - longer wound animation
      • Biomechanoids - unique turning animation
      • Cucurbito - finally added ragdolltransition animations back, restored 2 unused ones. But only slightly fixed the ragdoll itself.
      • ElectroFish - old shader config, removed alpha keying from base texture, different glossmap.
      • ElementalLava - old shader config
      • Gizmo - classic-styled animations, restored blinking in first lod, old shader config featuring glowing eyes
      • Gnaar - reimported mesh (no real changes)
      • Harpy - now drops helmet on death, correct projectile trail particle and model.
      • Kleer - removed alpha keying from base texture
      • Zumbul - gibs get bloody again.
    I take back what I said on levels. That is not happening.

    Hotfix

    • Correct Harpy gibs
    • RL: position adjustment, reverted texture (VERY URGENT)
    • Dunes: decreased sun brightness, correct pillar tip color
    This update is final until I get the motivation to work on levels. Those will be in an independent workshop item, and Dunes will be moved out.

    Hotfix

    • RL item now uses the correct model

    • No more green-ish item particles
    • RL rework - rotate sound removed, completely different mesh, unfucked animations, some smaller adjustments
    • A number of changes to dunes (including adding a missing building)
    • Slight menu recolor
    • Finally changed the menu background
    • Harpies are gibbable with explosives again

    • Removed blood overlays from all enemies
    • Added SS2 Powerup overlays, particles, sounds, and extra life model
    • Made the mod fully DM-compatible
    • Harpies no longer explode every time they die (taken from SeriousSacor and DannyS's mod with permission)
    • Fixed rendering distance on dunes pillars
    • Imported correct knife mesh
    • Harpy projectiles glow again
    • Other minor adjustments
    This update is not final.

    • Added old Mordekai model (mesh, textures, animations), and classic Staff model
    • Reverted the changes done to player grenade and rocket
    • Reverted the changes done to DB TP model, now only the item one is slightly elevated
    • Player list and netricsa text fonts are no longer replaced (can't do anything about chat font)
    More changes to come, eventually...
