I have attempted to make rings, but they can't be centered around the planet so it's currently impossible till fluppi adds something i made up called Omnistuds, where you can connect a brick ANYWHERE regardless of it's location or rotation, just needs to have a 1/3x1/3x1/3+ scalable brick close for connection(requires you to have the Snapping option off for moving it)
