Update to version 1.3.4

  • Mechanoid raids can now emerge out of the ash in ashlands biomes.
  • Added a setting to toggle this.

Update to version 1.3.3

  • Switching the potential incidents display in a volcanos info panel to percent chance, instead of relative weight. Hopefully making it more readable.

Update to version 1.3.2

  • The notification for a volcanic condition ending now appears when the volcanic condition ends, instead of when the grace period that comes after it ends.
  • Reverting back the change that might have broken things.

Update to version 1.3.1

  • Fixed an issue where any weather that uses the snow overlay, would also have a very dense fog overlay, if it occurs after an ash storm ends. This was fixed by semi-re-reverting to a simplified version of the old-but-newer ash storm overlay that was in use since the mod was updated for 1.5.
  • Possibly broke something that will be fixed shortly in a panic update.

Major Additions:

  • New biome - Blighted Petrified Forest:
    • Intense blight storms have transformed this once thriving forest, into a wasteland of semi-petrified trees, that somehow still manage to cling to life. The soil is barren, the water has turned to sludge, and while there are trees here, they yield little parasol wood. Not a pleasant place to live.
    • Generated at random around blighted volcanos.

  • New biome - Volcanic Basalt Hills:
    • A mountainous region with large fields of columnar basalt, broken up by patches of fertile ash, and pools of lava. Proximity to an active volcano ensures there is little plant life found here.
    • Generated at high altitudes around active volcanos.
    • This biome will always have the basalt rock type.

  • New animal - Rachnoid:
    • Found in arid and volcanic biomes.
    • Can be sheared for rachnoid silk.

  • New polluted plant - Orange sporangium flower:
    • It's just a new flower.
    • Grows on polluted terrain in the ashland marsh and ashland meadow.

  • New polluted plant - Blightcap:
    • A new crop plant, yields disgusting raw fungus when harvested.
    • Grows on polluted terrain in thriving ashland biomes and the ashland swamp.

  • New volcanic condition - Impenetrable ash clouds:
    • Dense ash clouds from a nearby volcano fill the sky, greatly blocking sunlight, and further reducing the local temperature.
    • Can only be caused by blighted volcanos, stacks with the forced dense ash clouds condition.

    Minor Additions:
    • Added two recipes to turn rachnoid silk into cloth.
    • Added a setting that allows you to modify the grace ticks after a volcanic condition.
    • Blighted animals now have a subtle red colouration.
    • The explorer skeleton and volcanic debris buildings have been reworked to use ThingSetMakerDefs. The potential drops for both have been modified as well.
    • Added debug tools for spawning volcanos, and generating ashland biomes around volcanos.

    Changes:
    • Made the blighted bog biome slightly more boggier.
    • Redone the ash storm overlay, returning it to (almost) what it used to be.
    • Daedroth and ogrim are now pack animals.
    • Added new textures for natural basalt stone terrain.
    • Natural basalt stone terrain no longer accepts natural filth.
    • Any ashcano built will always belong to the player faction.
    • Added an informative message to the pre-world gen ashland settings page if My Little Planet is detected.

    Patches:
    • Added support for Fireflies 2
    • Animals that shouldn't have bones will not yield bones from Outland Core.
    • Updated the Cherry Picker loadfolder to check for the current 1.5 fork.
    • Updated a Harmony patch to check for Geological Landforms instead of Biome Transitions.
    • Updated animal ash resistance patch for MO.

Update to version 1.2.5

  • Achieving cliff racer extinction now causes you to gain goodwill with all factions that are not permanently hostile.
  • Achieving cliff racer return now causes you to lose goodwill with all factions that are not permanently hostile.
  • If you have Ideology, and the faction venerates the cliff racer, the good will change is inverted.
  • Added two of the cliff racer settings to the pre-world generation settings page (enable/disable and initial population slider).

Update to version 1.2.2

  • Added new animal - Daedroth.
  • Added daedroth wanders in incident.
  • Added three abilities unique to the daedroth. Each daedroth will generate with a single ability, selected at random.
  • Added daedroth eggs as a possible rare drop from volcanic debris.
  • Added a new achievement for taming a daedroth.

Update to version 1.2.1

Removed the last two references to a still unfinished animal in achievement defs.
I believe those references may get cached, and I do not know how they will be handled in game. So if you run into issues, then you will want to use dev mode to regenerate the two achievements listed below, the second is only if you also have Biotech enabled.
