Update: 24 Jul @ 10:32am

*Mostly* fixed title history for Peloponnese, Thessalonika and Thessalia in 1178

Some more title history changes, mostly post 1178 for laying down some groundwork for a Latin Empire start date in the future

Update: 23 Jul @ 3:08pm

More additions to title histories, Thessalonika is now mostly complete as far as 1204

I'm unsure but theme of Strymon may be complete as well, though there wasn't much to add to it to begin with.

Holders of the title megas doux is now complete as far as 1204, currently they are holding the title k_hellas and d_achaia(Peloponnese) with d_achaia, d_crete and d_athens(Hellas) as vassals. Will later fill out the earlier holders of these titles (already added some).

Additions to a variety of other Byzantine themata including but not limited to Apulia(Longobardia) and Calabria (already had some additions to both), Cibyrrhaeot, Macedonia (does not exist as a theme, will later add it but using c_adrianople for the time being),

Update: 22 Jul @ 3:28pm

More additions to title histories, Dyrrachium is now complete as far as 1204 and additions to many other places

Added Atenulf, brother of Pandulf III of Benevento and gave him an estate. Atenulf ransomed Katepano of Italy Exaugustus Boioannes to Byzantines then fled to them with the ransom money.

Added unnamed mother of Maria Doukaina (added by me), wife of Protosebastos Alexios Komnenos, son of Andronikos, son of Emperor Ioannes II Komnenos. Maria's mother was of Doukas birth. Currently they are floating in the dynasty three but with the addition of Maria's mother as well, I may find some Doukas to attach them to.

Added the marriages of the daughters of Argyritzus, possibly descendant of Meles(entire family added by me), to Konstantin Bodin and Abelard

Added two sons to Stephanos Meles, a logothetes and friend of Emperor Ioannes II because he is possibly identical to
a logothetes whose two sons died shortly after him.

Added a father of Bulgarian culture to Ioannes Radenos( so far 57 members added by me compared to just the single fictional member of PDX) because Radenos family is thought to be possibly of Slavic origin.

Removed Alexios, son of Eirene, daughter of the historian Anna Komnene and Nikephoros Bryennios because he is
possibly identical to Emperor Alexios Doukas Mourtzouphlos. Connected Emperor Alexios Doukas Mourtzouphlos to his possible mother.

Changed the birth date and parentage of the nun Doukaina Kourtikaina and added her as the daughter of a known Doukas-Kourtikes couple from early 12th century

Update: 21 Jul @ 4:30pm

Added several new Byzantine families, families of Katepans of Italy:

Added Burgaris/Boulgaris, family, very likely to be of Bulgarian origin, with 4 members from 11th century

Added Katepano Christophoros Burgaris' wife Maria as a member of Katakalon family due to one of their children being named Katakale

Added Maroules family with 5 members from 11th and 12th century, the family has more members to add from later centuries which I may add later on.

Added Perenos family with 4 members from 11th century

Added Aboulchares who was a Katepano of Italy of Arab origin and held it from 1064 to 1068

Added Symeon, Katepano of Italy who is possibly identical to "Syrianos" (Syros Island) Katepano of Italy in 1061/2

Added Stephanos Pateranos the last Katepan of Italy who surrendered Bari in 1071. There is a Patrenos family with few known members so his name is possibly a variation, I will add them later on.

More title history changes for Byzantine Empire. Katepanate of Italy is now complete. Currently Katepans hold the county of Bari (as they had until 1071) but I will alter add a kingdom title for the Katepanate of Italy and eventually make seveal baronies in southern Italy their own counties as the current set up is unable to represent it with enough historical accuracy

Update: 21 Jul @ 9:58am

More title history changes for Byzantine Empire. Katepanate of Italy is now mostly complete as far as people with known families are concerned, there are a couple or so families that I must add for it to be complete. Katepanate title also doesn't exist so I will either add a kingdom or duchy tier title for it or straight up give the kingdom of Sicily title to represent it though probably won't prefer the latter.

Update: 20 Jul @ 1:43pm

Added two new Byzantine families that are connected through marriage:

Xiphias with 7 members from 10th, 11th and 12th centuries

Iberitzes, a family of Georgian origin that is most likely not connected to the earlier Iberitzes family, with 4 members from 10th and 11th century.

Added a new cadet house, Pterotos, to Arcruni family

Added Grigor Pterotos, relative, perhaps uncle, of Emperor Leo V the Armenian and gave him two children because he is
known to have had children. Added Konstantinos Pterotos, one of the commanders captured by Pechenegs in 1039 and connected him to Grigor Pterotos.

Some more title histories for Byzantine empire, theme of Anatolikon is now complete as far as people existing in the game are concerned.
