v1.4

A patch focused on changing the fighter's name to "Claire".

Update: 9 Dec, 2024 @ 9:20pm

v1.4

A patch focused purely on aesthetic changes: though small, they're changes I have been wanting to make for a while.

- Pillow's portrait has been slightly edited—it is now much closer to how how her proportions should look, rather than the inconsistencies of the original portrait. This also affects her Steam Workshop "preview" image, and the regular palette portrait that is included in her files.
- As a result of the above, the "charselect" image has been changed, too, though it was instead redrawn entirely (and given a background!). This also affects the "results_small" image.

Update: 8 Jul, 2024 @ 1:39pm

v1.3

A patch focused on addressing some issues with angle flippers.

- The angle flipper of back air attack has changed from 3 to 6.
- The angle flipper of forward air attack has been removed. It was previously 1.

Update: 12 Jun, 2024 @ 2:45pm

v1.2

A patch focused on fixing issues with Pillow's Burst Tackle (neutral attack), with a little change to her down attack.

- Opponents should now be unable to be frozen in place after trading hits with Burst Tackle (neutral attack).
- The joke hit on neutral attack (during the flailing animation) is now polite.
- Cooldown on neutral attack increased to 60 frames, instead of 45.
- Pillow can't cancel down attack into another attack when parried anymore.

v1.1

A patch focused almost exclusively on balance changes.

BUFFS
- Up attack’s main hitbox increased in height from -48 HITBOX_Y and 84 HEIGHT to -58 HITBOX_Y and 112 HEIGHT, allowing it to hit characters on platforms: the animation has been modified to reflect this. Additionally, its late hitbox changed from -10 HITBOX_X, -42 HITBOX_Y, 82 WIDTH, and 104 HEIGHT to -12 HITBOX_X, -46 HITBOX_Y, 86 WIDTH, and 96 HEIGHT.
- Back air attack’s hitbox increased in height and width, from 74 WIDTH and 42 HEIGHT to 80 WIDTH and 48 HEIGHT: the animation has been modified to reflect this. Also, the attack's start-up frame count has been changed from 7 frames to 5.
- Forward air attack’s start-up changed from 20 frames to 12 frames. This lets you do it out of a short-hop, too.
- Forward attack’s sourspot hitbox was made larger to coincide with the new visual.
- Changed angle on down attack’s hitbox from 90 to 80. Its recovery window's duration was also shortened from 20 frames to 15.
- You can now cancel the endlag of down attack into another attack.
- Tweaked sourspot on down air attack to be closer to the original hitbox (angle from 361 > 280, damage from 4 > 6).
- Changed the angle of up air attack’s Ice Launcher from 60 to 40.
- Increased damage on up attack’s main hitbox and late hitbox (8 > 10, 6 > 8), forward air attack (11 > 13), and forward attack’s sweetspot (9 > 12).
- Increased knockback overall on up air attack (8, 0.85 > 11, 0.6).
- “Lerp code” added to make the hits of Cube Kick (up air attack) connect better with the finishing blow.

NERFS
- Lowered duration of down attack's active window from 7 frames to 4.
- Lowered duration of Burst Tackle (neutral attack) grab windows from 24 frames to 18 frames. The duration of that missing stumble remains the same, at 32 frames.
- Removed late hitboxes from back air attack, forward attack, and down attack.
- Lowered base knockback on forward attack’s sourspot hitbox from 9 to 7.
- Lowered base hitpause on forward attack’s sourspot hitbox from .35 to .20.

BUG-FIXES/MISCELLANEOUS
- Hurtbox properly changed when transitioning from Heavy Air Stomp (down air attack) to Heavy Stomp (down attack).
- Forward attack’s animation was tweaked to make the sweetspot’s location clearer. Its placement was adjusted to be directly tied to the sprite’s indicator, too.
- Changed SFX and VFX on certain attacks to be more fitting with the new values. The character's notable moves were unaffected.
- The late hitboxes of down air attack and up air attack have been modified to be much closer to their original counterparts, differing only slightly in knockback, damage, and hitpause.
- You now get your double jump back when using Heavy Air Stomp (down air attack).
