  • Added heating and ventilation to the pilot/driver's compartments in all the vehicles in the addon that needed it, since after the official v1.14.2 (AI Infantry) update the developers made changes to the code in Stormworks so that the default NPC characters now take full environmental damage, including being able to suffocate and freeze to death - just like the Survivor NPC's.

  • Added a quick and dirty fix to the bug that was carried across from the official default_ai_aircraft addon where sometimes the airfield queue would glitch out, causing the helicopters to stay in a holding pattern indefinitely instead of landing. This quite often happened upon loading a saved world or when the previous helicopter crashed whilst landing or was shot down.

    Now any helicopters will only stay in a holding pattern for the first leg and if the airfield queue still isn't free they'll move onto their next waypoint instead.

  • Fixed an issue with the debug ui where it would stay on the screen even though it was toggled off again.

  • Added the DC-3 by Kernle Frizzle as one of the AI aircraft that you can encounter.
  • Tweaked the script slightly so that aircraft that crash into the sea are more likely to explode and thus respawn.

  • Fixed a minor bug where vehicle respawn data wasn't being written to (and thus not loaded with) the world save.

  • Added the admin command "?ai_clear" which will instantly delete all the civilian traffic from the game world, forcing them to slowly respawn again from scratch. Be warned that this will also delete all the hospital boats too.

  • Fixed the issue with aircraft getting stuck on the Northernmost boundary of the map.
    It seems the official default_ai_aircraft script doesn't take into account the fact that Geometa shrunk the map size back in Stormworks version 1.9.0 and unfortunately we missed it when we originally consolidated the two scripts into one.

The Aerial Refuelling Tanker Fix.

  • Fixed the issue with the KC-112M falling from the sky upon rendering in.
  • The KC-112M now uses chaff to increase the chances it'll survive a missile attack.
  • Several KC-112M's now have a chance of spawning into the world on game start if there's a limit of 64 or more aircraft, they will also spawn in further North and South and will slowly respawn any losses if aircraft keep getting destroyed.

Please note that you'll need to start a new game to see the above changes.
