Update: 4 Aug @ 7:35am

After the establishment of the Roman Empire, a special system of titles is adopted:
the ruler is styled as Augustus,
while their consort holds the title Augusta.

However, the title Caesar is overly generalized, making it difficult to clearly indicate an individual's status in the imperial succession. At the same time, Augustus does not include any modifier equivalent to Symbasileus (co-basileus), which could denote a co-ruler or designated heir.

To address this, the mod uses the titles Nobilissimus Caesar and Nobilissima Caesar — meaning “Most Noble Caesar” in their masculine and feminine forms. This style is historically attested, for example in the case of the younger Licinius. In-game, these titles are translated as “Supreme Caesar” and “Lady Caesar”, signifying highly exalted heirs while remaining distinct from the reigning Augustus.
