Update only for B42
  • finished cells 5,4 ; 5,5 ; 5,6 ; 5,7 ; 5,8 ; 5,9
  • finished cells partly 4,3 ; 4,4 ; 4,5 ; 4,6 ; 4,7 ; 4,8 ; 4,9 ; 4,10 ; 5,3 ; 5,10 (finished part: Central Park)
  • my first (small) subway station. It will later connect to the subway network.
Known Bugs (from vanilla game):
  • Some transitions between trafficlines and curbs have small gaps, especially on curves/diagonal roads. The same applies to furniture and fences that extend beyond 1 tile. This is a vanilla error since B42 and will be hopefully solved from the devs.
  • Some fence gates have been bugged since the last Vanilla update, especially the large chain link gates.
  • no bug: Vegetation, water and other objects/zones are only possible on floor 0.
  • maybe bug or missing feature: The light in the spawn room is not always on.
  • The setting whether zombies can spawn in the house (outside the room) does not work.
Known Bugs (in my mod):
  • vehicle zones for special cars do not spawn normal cars (error since B42), will investigate later
  • some vanilla vegetation tiles are bugged and I have to change them. You can recognize this by tiles with red question marks. One is in the central park zoo.
  • The biomes aren't working correctly yet; in some places, you'll find "no biome." I'll take a closer look at the biomes in general next.
  • Lake shorelines are sometimes unsightly. I'll have to tweak them later.
  • Some loot rooms aren't optimal yet, so I'll rework them. I'd also like to make the museum look better later.
  • Zombiespawnmap is not perfect. B42.9 introduced a new feature here, I still have to learn how to use it correctly.
Please tell me, if you find bugs.
Comming in one of the next updates:
  • death zone on map borders in the north (atm not sure if this works)
  • completing the draft for the complete street network
  • user request: mod support for api water zones (fresh and salt water) (will check this)
  • vehicle reskins for more vanilla cars (service cars and business cars)
  • vehicle reskins for vehicle mods (e.g. mods of KI5)
  • ingame maps as lootable items
  • more spawn locations in chealsea
  • (more) easter eggs
  • long run: more finished cells, new spawn districts, subway, basements, maybe higher towers.

  • start mapping/modding for build 42
  • now with vegetation zones (biome maps) for finished cells
  • cell 2,15 finished
  • some NYPD vehicle reskins for vanilla police cars (not finished yet)
  • draft for the street network west and north central park finished

  • removing the vanilla map items (of West Point, Louisville, etc.)
  • reservation for tiledef on pzwiki[pzwiki.net] (no conflicts known)
  • mod support for '87 Ford B700/F700 Trucks by KI5 - spawn zones for school buses have been integrated
  • two new tilesets (one by Yeah), which will be expanded in the future
  • new vehicle spawn zones (forced postal cars, forced police cars, ...)

  • preview of cell 3,15 added (entrance of Lincoln Tunnel)
  • balancing loot for hotels (manhattan distribution)
  • added ZombieTypes zones in Cell 4,15 and 4,16
  • added Nav, ParkingStall and TrafficJam zones in Cell 4,15 and 4,16
  • added vegetation bmp
  • fixed some bugs (missing doors, wrong tiles/layers, wrong tile properties, ...)
Info:
No vegetation zones (foraging) inserted because these are omitted in B42 and are calculated automatically.
