Concept and Layout ideas from the anime Gakkou Gurashi! {school-live!}

I wanted to make the map larger and accurate to include the second floor and connect to most of third floor, but the static mesh windows and glass were really taking a toll on performance. I cut the map short and removed smoke and fire effects and that has helped a lot. Depending on feedback I may expand the map in the future. The roof layout and grounds are close to the shows, but the floors below are just put together to accomodate flow.

Also of note is the classroom wall effect and floor fog idea came from another show, Owarimonogatari

This is the first "open" map I have made. There are few blocking volumes on the map and many windows and railings can be jumped over and player can escape into the outer map area. Doing this however will lead to death. There is a damage zone that if you enter the lower levels or outside you die.

The open map concept makes it fun for jumping over stuff for shortcuts but one mistake will get you killed.
