2.0 "Compass"


General:
- Adapted naval and other stuff for MtG
- Total reassemble of focus tree and decisions (basically new mod)
- Added Central American Council mechanic for FCA
- Reworked USA sanctions, now they can result USA military invasion if neglected
- Now federation start with number of issues to combat (basically gameplay till 1938)
- Reworked ideology swap, now it is tied to council
- Reworked and added more advisors


Colombia, Venezuela, Mexico and USA:
- Reworked Colombia interactions, still rather passive as before (COL is to weak to make into war)
- Now there is possible focus to invade Venezuela backed by the USA
- Now there is 2 possible MEX invasions: USA backed and provocation into war
- USA backed invasion would demand Mexican oil back
- Mexican Provocation would result civil war in USA later
- You can choose side in US civil War:
- Original government would lend you a bit, more hardcore if you fight US later
- Separatists would give you a lot of land to expand, easier to fight with CSA later

1.4 "Rocinante" MtG prerelease


Graphics:
- Added custom menu background screen
- Added proper historic leader for the Federation (backstory in leader desc)
- Added realistic names and sprites for small arms of FCA
- Added realistic names for starting planes (mix if imported USA, UK and German tech)
- Rearrenged and split political trees by ideology and the game phase


QoL:
- Added colored custom tooltips to all important political choices to be more understandable/readable
- Made biggest chunk of unique Central American decisions into separate category
- Changed color of Colombia... Ended up using mapnerd color scheme for rest of the world (old scheme is accasable in mod files)


Map:
- Added impassable state of Darien Gap to Panama (it is really impassable for armies even in 2k18...)
- Reworked North American strategic regions to fit geographic borders of mod


Localisation:
- Added unique ship name list for Federation, with big ones reserved for carriers and BS
- Rewritten couple events, focuses and descriptions both for grammar and updated backstory. Still my language is not perfect, but it is better.
- Try to made each focus unique and not generic copy+paste. Only couple left for next updates.


New:
- Added Caribbean Labor Union (Belize and Jamaica) as dominion of FCA (backstory in national idea desc)
- Added new fascism branch with 5 new focuses (Alliance with fascist SPR)
- Added 3 new focuses for fascism tree (5th research slot for lacking options and Congo interception/exploit)
- 2 new end-game focuses for communism and non-alligned (Big Trouble in China + Resolve South American Arms Race)
- Added new non-alligned branch with 8 new focuses (POR, BRA + FCA)
- Added new flavor idea system: USA interaction via events now feel more dynamic, with aggressive policy you would face consequences from USA
- Added 1 new industrial focus for Senior Hitler and Neutral trees
- Added several political ideas to military and research
- Added decision to form Peru-Bolivian Confederation as fascist or communist (custom name + flag)
- Added decision witch can boost your population via usage of political power
- Added starting idea that boost population grow at a research/industrial/resourse cost (can be removed by focus "Serve the Federation")
- Added victory points to Los Altos, British Honduras and Yucatan
- Added "alternative history" accurate generals to FCA


General fixes:
- Fixed several hundred log errors (mostly unharmful, but still was there)
- USA, VEN, PRU oil tech fix
- USA general skills fix
- Soviet Expedition focus now would be bypassed if Trotsky is in power
- Fixed "Panama Dockyards" focus to give proper intended bonuses
- Fixed "UASF" focus to not give 6th research slot for some branches
- Fixed Caribbean Gambit focus, now it gives proper states
- Fixed availability of 5th German decision to rename Central America
- Fixed "Support Peru" transfer interactions with "Gates of Galapagos"
- Fixed and made identical political party boosts all over the focus tree
- Now you can form Texas via decision even as neutral or communist power while in war with USA
- Added proper hidden AI alliance bonuses to all "faction" focuses


General rework:
- Federation now starts as proper Central American military dictatorship
- Reworked integration/annexation of Belize and Jamaica, not its done via decision or focus (for democratic/commie)
- Rework Belize annexation focuses as bonus annexation of Curacao of HOL in a war (in MtG state would have oil)
- Reworked recrutable population buffs, FCA would start with less but would gain a bit more later
- Reworked Great Depression as "State of Federal Economy" to be more precise in amount of available industry
- "Invite Panama" now not a freebie. Colombia can have it as well if you want to deal with them later via Fascist focuses
- Focus "Strike Puerto Rico" now would actually damage ports, air bases and infrastructure in Puerto Rico and declare war on USA
- Rebalanced some ideas to have exact political drift as alternatives
- Removed ideology drift bonuses from focuses, added them to events launched by early game focuses instead (Federal Identity, Alfonso XIII, Oppose German Repressions)
- Dialed back research slot from Federal institute to 50 factory req. from 40
- Boosted overall starting population by several percent. Swapped around 300k population from Mexican states to Guatemala/Los Altos
- Redesigned Warmachine tree to be more flavourful and have more choises to be made


Rework/rebalance of Army branch:
- Due to actually almost never getting to all the focuses of the army tree cut it technically by 3 focuses
- Now there is two mutually exclusive paths: "Professional Army" and "Irregular Army"
- First focus would give you double research bonus for specific war doctrines
- Second focus would unlock two thematically specific technologies
- And third one would give divison template/jungle warfare and final research bonus
- Redesigned "Small Arms" focus as "Federal Rifle Competition", you would be able depending on the date and tech either get 1939 imported model or 1942 own rip-off for free.


Fleet boost/rework of warmachine tree (in hopes of more adequate AI in MnG):
- Scrapped tank focus, rebalanced tree with more meaningful for ww2 era Army vs Navy
- Now Army and Navy would have 3 exclusive unique focuses and 9 generic focuses
- Also there is choice for generic branch of Sub vs Destroyer and CAS vs Naval bomber
- Unique navy focuses allow you to catch up in tech both in 1396 and mid 1940 (if you researched 1936 models)
- Now all starting ships have unique class
- Redesigned battleship focus as "Federation Class Battleship"
- Redesigned destroyer focus as "Union mk.II Class Destroyer"
- Redesigned cruiser focus as "Equality and Serenity Class Cruisers"
- Redesigned carrier focus as "MAC"
- Added starting Colorado Class Battleship that by alternative history legend sold by USA to Federation (IRL Washington BB-47 Cancelled by USA after signing of Washington Naval Treaty; Sunk as target, 25 November 1924)
- Added couple of Union Class destroyers as an Atlantic fleet


Rework/fix of Trotsky branch:
- Possible result of tree is war of GEO+UKR+BLR+SOV(communist) vs SOV(fascist)+GER+ITA+JAP
- Ukraine and Belarus would go eventually independent communist and join 4th International side against fascist Russian Empire (if GEO still in war with now Russian Empire)
- Soviet Union would rebel/flip to 4th International side if it still exists when Stalin is assassinated and SOV change to Russian Empire
- Any GER/ITA/JAP war with now Russian Empire would end, but new war against 4th International side would be declared instead
- Reworked Caucasus rebellion, now it is using custom unit file and have proper placement of units on victory points to help with initial survival
- GEO now use proper name and flag in rebellion

1.3 "Summer 2018"

Overall:
- Mid-game revolving around Mexico now can have 3 different scenarios (Yucatan annexation, integration civil war and Senior Hitler scenario)
- Added 13 new focuses (could crash old saves)
- Added 6 new events
- Added 17 new decisions
- Rebalanced a lot of Ideas and focuses, most of them recived boost (yes, AI behavior became better)
- Rewritten some of English localisation, still needs improvement tho
- Removed 3 focuses (could crash old saves)
- Rearrenged for beter visual and gamelplay cohesion following focus subrunches: Industrial, Communist, Research and War Machines


Reworks:
- Reworked focus "Revolution is My Name" to actually create civil wars
- Reworked focus "Slam Uncle" to give forts on US border
- Reworked focuses "Carribean Gambit", "Ministry of Refugee Labor" and "Montezuma Bomb"
- Moved "The Slave Becomes the Master" and "The New Wrold Order" from focus tree to decisions. This is an inderect boost, now you can do other focuses while this decisions are taken.
- Revorked "Slicing The American Pie" so "The New Wrold Order" is more accesable. Now you can form all the countries while in the war.


New features:
- Now you can host Federation Football Cup as aternative to cancelled FIFA WC in 1942
- Jamaica now can be transferred under your control after Belize via political decision
- New midgame feature: You can install Hitler or Himmler in power if GER goes for "Oppose Hitler"
- Nazis would allow you to bypass "Polite Montezuma" and wage war with Mexico in traditional manner via "Plan Northern Invasion" focus
- Nazis have 4 decisions to boost fascism, research and manpower (almost equal to focus subbrunch)
- New midgame feature: You can create tocken monarchy with exiled Alfonso XIII
- As the result you can bypass "Polite Montezuma" and annex MEX peacufully, but with civil war as result
- "Reach Out to Mexican Imperialism" is now requered for "Royal Servants" subbrunch
- Japanese now have support subtree like GER and SOV
- Communist subtree now more fleshed out
- As result Trotsky is easer to access, and can really mess up Soviet Union
- Added "The Lone Star Revolt" and Red Canada subbrunch for possible three-way war with USA
- Also Red Entente is a thing if FRA goes communist, if SPR is communist (red won civil war) it would join FCA and FRA as well

- Added cores to a lot new possible countries on the US territory (lategame involved)
- New tags: CSA, GSA, ISA, QUE, WHS
- Revorked New world Order and Slising the American pie to gove cores for new countries and you as well if req. is met
- Revorked everything involved with old stability to match WTT
- Reworked Industrial tree brunch
- Added Great Depression to FCA and means to end it

- Made resistance movements more interesting via Events and Decisions tab

Version: 1.1a "DoD patch"

- Although there were no incompatibility issues updated compatibility for 1.4.1 patch
- Fixed Red America focus bug when CHI recieved idea instead of CHL
- Added for 3 fascism focuses support of DoD license system. Those players who do not possess DoD DLC would see and utilize old research bonuses
- Now FCA focus tree uses several new 1.4 icons
- Updated campaign selection screens
- English localization fixes
