1.6.2 Patch Notes (18/5/2017)

  • NEW The Zenith of Fallen Empires Starter Pack released.

  • Hopefully resolved issues that occur when Portal event coincides with the final stage of Horizon Signal event.

  • Terror Cannon Prototype tech localisation fixed.

  • Fixes for Spanish localisations.

1.6.1 Patch Notes (17/5/2017)

  • NEW Spanish Localization added for Spanish folks. Many thanks to 8igualdos0s for the hardwork on providing the translations on this mammoth of a mod :)

  • Added fallback culture for all fallen ships. This should reduce chances of coloured boxes when running with unsupported mods.

  • Resized Arc Emitters now deal normal shield damage as intended.

  • Not really a patch note, but merely to inform that Researchable Titan Laser, Titan Laser + Resized Lances, and Titan Weapons have been updated to 1.6.*. They will now serve as component mods to ZoFE.

1.6 Patch Notes (16/5/2017)

  • NEW Dyson Ring systems. Set to spawn as an additional neighboring system to Garden of Serenity and Utopia system.

  • NEW Science Nexus Ring systems. Set to spawn as an additional neighboring system to Shadow, Utopia, and Forge of Infinity system.

  • NEW Proton and Neutron Advanced Energy Lances. Cyan and White colours.

  • NEW Three new Titan Laser colours: Orange, Pink, and Sapphire.

  • Additional ruined ringworld systems now spawn with Throne of Immortality, Light of Eternity, and Forge of Infinity. More detail in system descriptions.

  • Improved Turret Ship Behavior. Ships will no longer be stationary and turn their backs on their enemy!

  • These new additional new systems should be repairable without Utopia.

  • Some Titan Laser Icons have been improved.

  • Many ship designs have been updated to include the new coloured weapons.

1.5.7 Patch Notes (15/5/2017)

  • NEW Growing Concern event. MTTH is 70 years, with modifiers to lower the time the stronger a subject is. Allows the Ascended Empire to commandeer or destroy the entire fleet of the subject. Or... you know, you could be nice for once and release them from your evil influence. This is on the same exclusive list as Renegotiating the Deal and Victim Compensation event, meaning only one of these will trigger per subject.

  • Resized and Advanced Arc Emitters are nerfed. Shield penetrations have been removed from all of them as most other weapons have to hit through shields. Titan Arc Emitters will retain the shield pen values however.

  • Garden of Serenity's broken ringworld segments are now repairable via megastructure repairs in game. New save game required.

1.5.6 Patch Notes (14/5/2017)

  • NEW Extra combat computers added to your escorts, battlecruisers, and titans. Do have a play around to see if you like these new behaviours!

  • NEW Turret ship behavior for your Battlecruisers, Titans, and Goliaths. They will remain stationary when attacking.

  • NEW Renegotiating the Deal event. MTTH is 70 years, which will be lowered the lower a subject's ruler skill is. The subject will attempt to renegotiate the terms of agreement between it and the overlord ascended empire. Once agreed, it will gain 25% energy and minerals at the expense of 10% from the Overlord.

  • NEW Victim Compensation event. MTTH is 70 years, which will be lowered if you have warred with your subject. The subject will attempt to seek compensation for alleged victims in past war.

  • The new events are exclusive to each other, meaning only one will fire per subject.

  • New targeting parameters for Goliath behavior.

  • Surrender Ascendancy has been renamed Banish Ascendancy to reflect more closely the intention of the wargoal.

  • Size restrictions removed from ultimate weapons. The code is now redundant.

1.5.5 Patch Notes (13/5/2017)

  • NEW Poverty event. MTTH is 10 years. Enables an Ascended Empire to gift a subject 5000 energy credits.

  • NEW Infrastructure Recovery event. MTTH is 10 years. Enables an Ascended Empire to gift a subject 5000 minerals.

  • NEW Lack of Progress event. MTTH is 10 years. Enables an Ascended Empire to grant access to its databanks to a subject, increasing their research speed by 10% for 10 years.

  • The above events are exclusive to one another, meaning each subject can only fire one of them.

  • Too Brilliant for a Primitive event now requires "Titan Weaponry" for it to trigger for the subject. It's MTTH will be decreased if the subject has researched Titan Laser, Titan Arc Emitter and/or Terror Cannon or their prototypes.

  • In 1.6.1, Fallen Empire rooms are no longer selectable at start. This change adds Fallen Empire rooms back in, including several new re-colourings. AI will also use these. Overwrites a vanilla file and may cause incompatibility with mods introducing new rooms (as in, some won't show).

  • Reworked Goliath. Now it has one required component set which generates extra power in order to mount the ultimate weapon and use a number of shields. Added new ship behavior so Goliath will now be stationary when attacking.

  • Ultimate weapons' damage have been reduced by 70%, and its cost and power-consumption increased.

1.5.4 Patch Notes (12/5/2017)

  • NEW A Joint Naval Exercise event. MTTH is 30 years which decreases the stronger the subject is. An Ascended Empire have the opportunity to increases the fleet effectiveness of their subjects for 10 years, or sabotage military equipments to make them less effective against Ascended Empires for 10 years.

  • NEW Imminent Terror Attack event. MTTH is 30 years. An Ascended Empire will intercept transmissions and be given an opportunity to tip-off a subject of an imminent terror attack on its capital. Failure to do so will result in xeno deaths and ruined buildings.

  • The above events form an exclusive list with Too Brilliant for a Primitive event, meaning only one of these three events will fire per subject.

  • NEW Too Brilliant for a Primitive event. Ascended Empires may nab a scientist from a subject, or choose to sabotage their science facilities to slow their technological progress. MTTH is 30 years.

  • Changed colony bombardment event picture from Ascended Empires.

  • On Ascension, you will now be given a third civic of my choice. Be glad it's not Agrarian Idyll.

  • Giant Matter Disintegrator has had its wind-up size reduced, and the particle effect should now be in a further forward position than before.

  • Added in support for powerstations on my end of the mod.

1.5.2 Patch Notes (10/5/2017)

  • Updated for Game Update 1.6 'Adams'.

  • A Gift from Heaven event now has a MTTH of 50 instead of 25.

  • Models for Mammalian FE ships is now Fallen Authoritarian instead of Xenophobe to better match the original ship's colour.

  • Models for Reptillian FE ships is now Fallen Democracy instead of Spiritualist to increase diversity.

  • Models for Arthropoid FE ships is now Fallen Imperialist instead of Xenophile to better match the original ship's colour.

  • Not really an addition, but merely to inform this mod is tested to be automatically compatible with Sins of the Prophets and Elves of Stellaris - and presumably also compatible with all other new ship skins with an actual fallback to vanilla cultures.

  • Minor adjustments to the wargoal names. Total Annihilation is renamed Surrender Ascendancy to better reflect that it does, in fact, just remove another Ascended Empire from its seat of power. Total Wipe Out is now renamed Total Annihilation as it destroys every colony of the conquered. May do weird things to save games with these war demands active.

  • Many buildings have had their happiness bonus reduced, in line with 1.6's happiness nerf. Luxury hotel and Mega Shopping Complexes also increase food consumption on the planet.

  • Included Ascended Empires and all new country types in Fallen Empire awakening events.

  • Authoritarian Ascended Empire's gift battlecruiser name is now Master.

  • Fallen Empire awakening has been reduced to minimum 120 years instead of 125.
