1.5.1 Patch Notes (8/5/2017)

  • NEW A Gift from Heaven Event. MTTH is 25 years which can be decreased with higher opinions. Allows an Ascended Empire the opportunity to bestow gifts of warships upon their primitive subjects. Then again, you can choose not to. Can only occur once per subject.

  • AI will now prefer all technologies from this mod above repeatables.

  • Fixed missing Small Energy Lance icon in ship designer.

  • Lost Empires will now get an event to spawn some fleets should their fleet drop below 5k power, much like Fallen Empires.

  • Added some global ship designs for Ascended Empires.

1.5.0 Patch Notes (7/5/2017)

  • NEW The Wrath of the Ancients event. After 100 years, when there is a Fallen Empire will awaken to an Ascended Empire of opposing ethos. They will declare war against the Ascended Empire and battle to the death in an attempt to safeguard their legacy. During this time, the Fallen will be given a modifier "Wrath of the Ancients", which boosts its damage against Ascended Empires and Ascended Hive Minds by 50%, Ship and army build speed increased by 50%, making a Fallen Empire awoken in this way a dangerous foe which will require all your might as an new Ascended Empire to conquer.

  • The Total Wipe Out War goal is now usable by Awakened Empires.

  • The Last Crusade now takes into account all new Ascended Empire ethoses added in 1.3.0

  • Added code to prevent (hopefully) extra Ascended Empires joining the Last Crusade.

  • Added a new modifier "Technological Catch-up" for normal empires when there is an Ascended Empire. This will only occur after 50 years, for non-subject empires, and they will get +25% research output. This modifier ends when they, too, become Ascended.

  • Added ai weights to fallen_technologies, meaning AI will be more likely to acquire the right technologies to ascend now.

  • Added missing localization for some modifiers.

  • Fixed Goliath Hangar section not properly recognising more than 2 strike crafts.

1.4.5 Patch Notes (6/5/2017)

  • NEW Beacon of Immortality system - as per a subscriber's wish.

  • The Last Crusade event fleet power trigger reduced from 800k to 500k, to reflect recent adjustments to fleet power calculations in defines.

  • Food as a maintenance resource from buildings has largely been removed, and many buildings have had their resource maintenance adjusted. Exception being Sacred Ground, and Xeno Culture Centre, as you will still be offering food to the gods and trying to attract xenos with delicious food.

  • Magnificent University now gives negative government ethics attraction.

  • NEW Fallen Democracy, Oligarchy, Imperialist and Dictatorship Ship and city sets.

  • Fixed AI event option for turning into Hive Mind ships.

  • On Ascension, your pops will now change to a single non-fanatic ethos only.

  • Superior Ship Design event now lock out ship options depending on the ethics and authority you currently have.

  • Fallen Pacifist city set has been updated, and its original is now Fallen Democracy's city set.

  • NEW Fallen Hive Mind Ship Set and city set.

  • Fallen Militarist ship set has been changed, and city set updated.

  • Fallen Pacifist ship set and city set have been enhanced.

  • Fallen Egalitarian city set updated.

  • Fallen Hive Mind Ship Set now included in event options and AI Hive Minds will ascend using those ships.

  • Titan Fighters/Bombers have been nerfed.

1.4 Patch Notes (1/5/2017)

  • Ascended Empires and Ascended Hive Minds are now able to participate in crises like regular empires. However, this requires me to override more vanilla files. Those using other balance mods may not see any improvements as they may override this.

  • Fixed broken link between Yuranic building and tech.

  • Removed map setups for small and tiny galaxies.

  • AI will no longer be building spaceport lances, which fixes them building multiple lances in one spaceport. In addition, only those with the tech can have the option of building spaceport lances.

  • NEW 14 Empire-Unique Strategic Resource buildings. Consumes 25 energy, minerals, 10 influence and 10 unity to maintain. These can be built on capitals only.

  • Civilian Teleportation now speeds up migration time as intended.

  • Most buildings have had their stats adjusted to become more powerful and relevant in endgame.

  • Mega structure cost reduction bonus from fallen_technologies_1 is reduced to -10% from -50%

  • NEW Civilian Teleportation. Unlocked after Fallen_Technologies_1, provides 1 influence, 5% happiness and massively reduce pop migration times for the planet. Planet Unique. Egalitarian ethics only.

  • NEW Beacon of Peace. Unlocked after Fallen_Technologies_1, provides 1 influence and 10% happiness. Pacifist ethics only.

  • NEW Weapons Arsenal. Unlocked after Fallen_Technologies_1, provides 1 influence and increases planet ship and army production speed by 20%. Planet Unique. Militarist ethics only.

  • NEW Sacred Ground. Unlocked after Fallen_Technologies_1. Provides 1 influence, 5% happiness and governing pop ethic attraction. Planet Unique. Spiritualist ethics only.

  • NEW Technolith. Unlocked after Fallen_Technologies_1. Provides 1 influence, and 10% increase in research gathered on the planet. Planet Unique. Materialist ethics only.

  • NEW Xeno Culture Center. Unlocked after Fallen_Technologies_1. Provides 1 influence, increases pop happiness by 5%, xeno migration attraction by 75% and xenophile ethic attraction. Planet Unique. Xenophile ethics only.

  • NEW Altar of Purity. Unlocked after Fallen_Technologies_1. Provides 1 influence, gives 5% happiness, decreases xeno migration attraction by 75% and xenophobe ethic attraction. Planet Unique. Xenophobes ethics only.

  • Last Crusade Loser Ascended Empires will now also get to keep their ringworlds.

  • Improved tech icon for Mega Shopping Complex.

  • Fixed broken tech tooltips for Luxury Hotel and Planetary Archives.
