Update: 12 Oct, 2022 @ 7:48pm

Version 4.1

- Moonstorm detection is now consistent and accurate; no more lightning detection shenanigans
- Cave boss music now plays correctly
- Added a failsafe for boss music not triggering correctly
- Eye of Terror now plays Autumn Boss track

- Frog Rain checks now occur less frequently which should help performance on slower computers
ー checks now occur when the player's hunger value changes instead of on weather ticks
ー frog rain music will not work if using godmode command or a modded character with no hunger

- Busy music stops playing when a boss changes phases
ー to prevent music overlap, busy music will stop until changing areas
ー this will result in a bit of silence after fighting phase 2 of a boss
ー this is relevant for the following bosses: Klaus, Moon Stone, Ancient Fuelweaver

- Reworked and upgraded menu music configuration
ー random menu track setting works again (will pick a random track on startup)
ー can now pick random or a specific track in the configuration

Update: 4 Oct, 2022 @ 6:33pm

Version 4.0.1

- Fixed a calculation mistake for frog rain
- Fixed a mixer issue where moonstorm music plays at 100% volume even with special weather music off

Update: 29 Sep, 2022 @ 4:06am

Version 4.0

- Script has been heavily modified to support background checks for frog rain and moonstorms.
ー In addition to "scripts/components/dynamicmusic.lua" the mod now also modifies "scripts/mixes.lua" and "scripts/widgets/moonstormover.lua". This could make it incompatible with some mods.

- Lowered and further balanced the volume of all tracks
- Added Shadow Creature danger music
- Added Cave 3 Track
- Added Ruins/Atrium 3 Track
- Added Moonstorm Track
- Added Frog Rain Track
- Added Full Moon Track 2
- Added Sandstorm Track
- Added Celestial Champion tracks for all 3 phases
- Added Unconnected Marketeers title theme to Menu music list
- Lunar Island Fight/Boss music plays when in a moonstorm
- Moving from a boat to land or vice versa now fades music in
- Enlightenment stinger (chime that plays when becoming enlightened) is now implemented
- Item Collection room now plays modded menu music
- Work music remains muted for one more second after a dawn/dusk stinger is triggered.
- Snipped beginning of Sailing Night 1
- Changed Sailing Day 2
- Changed Sailing Night 2
- Changed Sailing Boss
- Changed Lunar Island Day 2
- Changed Lunar Island Night 2
- Changed Lunar Island Fight
- Special Weather Music toggleable in config (toggles sandstorm, frog rain, and moonstorm music)
- Ruins/Atrium music now properly changes to Cave music when moving from Ruins/Atrium to Cave

- Sounds during moonstorms no longer play at 30% volume (which is the vanilla DST configuration) if Special Weather Music is enabled. This is a necessary change to make moonstorm music work.

- The criteria for some tracks don't have a client-side in-game trigger that can be used to detect them, so the mod's detection of them is scuffed and may not work with modified world settings.
ー Frog rain is detected based on the ratio of nearby frogs to nearby ponds--an excess of frogs triggers frog rain music.
ー Moonstorms are detected by looking for the lightning effect on the ground near the player--if the effect is nearby, moonstorm music is triggered.

Menu Music Issue:

A while ago, DST changed the way it handles main menu music which had the effect of making the modded menu music always play the first track in the list upon initialization. The intention of the mod is to have it randomly pick a track from the list but when the game is started up, it will always, without exception, pick the first track from the list. If the game is already running, then reloading the menu in any way (changing mod settings, going to/from item collection room, leaving a server, etc.) will correctly pick a track at random.

This issue is completely unrelated to any updates for this mod. I do not have a fix for this at the moment so it will remain this way until I make a functional workaround.
