  • Binocs have been slightly reworked to play nicer with other viewing items in game.
    • Default auto nightvision has been disabled
    • Toggle night vision of binocs with fire button
    • Binocs in tray will now show the accessory light icon when night modes are active
    • Binocs will now detect if the player already has a night vision buff, and if so will not apply its own or remove any existing buffs.
    • The "no look" mode has been replaced by a "locked view mode". This new mode will stay on without the need for holding down any buttons. This mode also removes the overlay providing a wider viewing angle and is toggled with the "n" key.
  • Also include somes optimization and minor fixes

  • Fix for scoped items and Binoculars.
    • The user may now switch between 1st and 3rd person views while the item is equipped and not actively zoomed in.

  • Set default scope zoom in GUS ini with ScopeDefaultZoom=[1-4]
  • Snapshot mode (alt+s) now also available on all scopes.

  • Reduced texture overhead of previous workstation.
  • Workstation can now run on charged batteries (Aberration)
  • Workstation has a desktop lamp that can be turned on/off seperate from the station.
  • Workstation can now craft charge batteries, and charge lanterns (Aberration)
  • Workstation desklamp works independantly of the workstation
  • Workstation lamp has adjustable intensity settings accessed through the wheel options

It is recommened that you pickup and re-place any existing workstations with this update to ensure proper functionality.

Note: It appears something went wrong with the upload and even though the old models have been deleted they somehow are still showing as such in game, but not in the dev kit. Unless anyone is experience big issues I will attempt a new upload tomorrow.

  • Changed default behavior of binoculars to not use the audio spying. To reenable this feature place EnableAudioSpying=1 in your GUS ini file
  • Addedd some more checks on objects to remove the glass wall crash bug for spyglass and binoculars.

  • New Item - SEL Spyglass for lower level characters. (Available at level 25)
  • Spyglass and Binoculars now have new features
    • Toggleable "No look mode". This mode is toggled with <alt+a> and allows the user to view dino stats without entering targeting mode and therefore scanning without holding down a button or drawing the overlay.
    • Toggleable "Snapshot Mode". This mode is toggled with <alt+s> and locks the hud on a snapshot of the current target.
  • Added SEL Spyglass as craftable in the electronics workstation.
  • Changed Binoculars Zoom fixing "recalibration" issue.
  • Changed targeting for all items on gamepad from right trigger to left trigger where it should have been.
  • Binoculars and SEL Spyglass can examine targets on the other side of glass walls (tested with glass walls from Structures Plus mod).
  • Changed ini file details from having to enable all, to having everything enabled by default and users must now disable items they do not want to see.
  • Redesign of darts and arrows. They should be more reliable now on all servers.
  • "Tightened up" some of the scopes to their rifles reducing odd looking behavior when standing idle.
  • Changed folder structure for all items. They now all appear under SELMods root folder
  • With good aim and a little luck darts and arrows can now score critical hits doubling damage and torpor... be careful not to kill your target with this extra damage

Apparently a variable name changed in the new dev kit causing code to not get executed when trying to create a scoped rifle of higher quality. This update corrects this issue and adds the stage 4 arrow into the workstation as it should be.

  • Scoped Rifle now uses proper weapon damage upgrades from higher quality weapons
  • Fixed excessive damage issues on bow and compound bow
  • Crossbow, Bow, and Compound bow will also now use proper weapon damage from higher quality weapons.
  • Workstation can now be used to craft stage 1-4 arrows
