Version 6.2 "Survival Hotfix"

This update fixes balancing issues of starting conditions, especially in combination with Ironman and the now more challenging happiness scaling. It gives you some new options to get a viable start and to survive under tough conditions. This hotfix is save game compatible. You only have to rebuild your existing workshops and chapels for new features.

- Added a peat goahti as early game dwelling for survivors.
- Added a priest option to the wooden chapel to reach full happiness already in early game.
- Added an option to preserve cabbage for better food supply.
- Slightly increased yield of other veges like turnips (26) , onions (23) and beans (21-28).
- Increased amount of veges and fruits brought by merchants to supply settlements far north.
- Fixed a bug of missing coats in builders and farmers carts and put coats into Anders and Ella’s bag.
- Changed lamp oil now made from tallow in ratio 1:1 to be more relevant when it comes to mining.

Version 6.1 "Spring Update"

This update is mainly about happiness and polishing existing features but also brings a couple of new items like an ale house for brewing and drinking in old days, a tannery for processing hides and a sauna to make your people happy. The actual new feature of a now noticeable happiness system has to be activated by one of the citizen mods made for the North which are Norseman and Ironman[banishedventures.com].

Version 6 "New Economy"

This Update brings a new resource management and more building materials. Glassworks and sand mining are added as well as new models for hunting cabin, gatherer shelter, foresters lodge, herbalist and blacksmith. More new buildings are an oven house for baking bread, a bee yard for honey production and Viking style trading docks. A special feature is recultivation of old pits and quarries to use them as fishing waters. Also more ways of food processing are added and many small improvements of gameplay are done.

Version 5.3 "Gold Rush"

Gold-seekers arrived in the North to find new riches. Now gold can be mined from river banks and from the ground. Also included a fishing pier, a salt cabin and a campfire to improve your food production. This update also brings a terrain reworking, new animal sounds, UI improvements, balancing changes and a few bug fixes. It is not compatible with your 5.2 save game and needs to start a new map.

Version 5.2 "Smoker"

Added a bigger storage building and a tailoring workplace for log cabins as well as a smoking shed to preserve fish. Herbs can now be grown on fields after buying seeds. Different sizes of the overview map. Fixed storage bug of alcohol and hopefully no more not acceptable nomads.
