Yes. This does not affect any changes made my ES, and I've been using both together as long as this mod has existed.
I'll keep an eye on your profile, but a post here would be awesome when you finish it. I've searched everywhere to try to find a mod to stack more containers, and this is the closest I've found so far.
Thanks again! ^_^
We actually had a discussion about accessing stacked barrels in the comments a while back. That said, I understand the sentiment. Sure, I'll go through vanilla containers when I have a chance and see about platforming some more. At the moment, I'm working on getting vanilla farm animals to spawn like monsters without cluttering planets (almost done with that one, actually), a few upgrades within the RPG Growth project, and a few other ideas that I'm fleshing out, so I have a few projects in line. But I'll definitely have a look
There shouldn't be many other containers that would be logical to adjust, but if you can give me an example I'll take a look. As to Patreon, no I haven'y opened a Patreon.
"1.4 dropped today. Still can't stand on barrels unless I pray to some minor Totem the native salad people call 'Azure Fang'. The hell kind of universe am I stuck in? I hear whistling, I wo-"
Use workshop collections. You'll have an easier time with that
I assume it will be needed by all involved players, but I honestly do not know.
That's literally impossible with this mod.
I can only assume that the next time you enter the planet/ship/station with the stack, it will collapse. As implied by the bottom of the description, this actually happens every time you load an ocean planet :P
Not since beta.
What's interesting?
I can confirm that this is caused by Enhanced Storage. Additionally, this barrel mod does not touch anything except the large and small wooden barrels.
Instead, it just drops itself. it might be this mod or that i have enhanced storage too
To be perfectly honest, must of the content I target is really simple. I have a thing for "quality of life" mods and fan patches :squirtyay;
If I may correct some of that barrel trivia:
You are correct in the term bunghole. However, it is not uncommon to have two or more bungholes bored into a barrel - usually one on the side for the installation of a tap as you mentioned and one on top to allow for fluid replacement without removing the lid. However, barrels can indeed be opened, though usually only on one side. Common uses for barrels over the centuries include salt-curing of meats (mmmmm... corned beef). A barrel used for such would be filled with meat and brine, then sealed with a lid bored with a bunghole filled with a cork bung. The bung could be removed to refresh the brine as necessary, without the need to remove the barrel lid which caused wear on both the lid and locking ring.
You may be thinking of delivery and serving casks, smaller barrels meant solely for short term liquid storage and not meant to have the top or bottom panels removed after fabrication.
Valorous Chest and Legs (both cosmetic), and of course the Protectorate Flower.
@summus artifex
If I remember correctly, this was mentioned by a developer during beta - they had attempted but ran into problems with the engine and decided to expand the mobility techs and introduce rope to compensate. But I could be having false memories from another game's development, too, so take this with a grain of salt.
