Soul gem fragments are more rare than grand soul gems. Why do people think they should turn into petty soul gems ?

I agree with milkman, just make one fragment + a void salt or glow dust = petty gem. petty gems are easy enough to get that the rest works, but 3, rare fragments for one petty gem is too tedious.

What do Soul Gem Fragments originally do in the game i havent found a use for them

Seems to give rather bad returns for your input. A Daedra Heart for a single Black Soul Gem? And Soul Gem Fragments ain't something you go around picking up like cherries, atleast not in my experience. Let alone finding one of each type, that'll be fun when you have stockpiles of one type :I Not like you ever use soul gems after you get Azura's either, so they ain't that big of a deal

I dont agree with Foggy, I think this is great.
typical. 🎃 18 Feb, 2012 @ 3:39pm
FoggyFishburne, when it comes to enchanting, you need more than one Soul Gem. The existence of Azura's Star does not make this mod useless in any way whatsoever...

Wouldn't it make more sense to use actual gems like: Athemyst or Ruby?

This is stupid...

*MINOR SPOILER* Just do Azura's quest and you'll get a Soul Gem that you can refill forever, removing the need to craft other gems. And it weighs nothing, it's fucking overpowered. Cool idea but considering her reward exists, it kinda makes this mod obsolete.

Could you post a recipe list?
