What an increadable game, i would hope that you make a sequel for when you have a wife and she dies, and you have to go back and save her. But with a twist where someone put your dad in that cave

I would love to see this be a full indie game with a price of like $4.99 and it would include this little short. This is a great game with a great idea, keep up the good work!!!

This game is so amazing. The concept is amazing as well. I encountered a bug where if you enter level the water level while ur in the past mode, it turns back to normal, but the film strip sound is still there until you press space again twice. (Once to go back to time travel, and another to go back to normal). Hope this helps! Amazing game!

I loved this game, It was short, but fun. I think you should remake this game and put it on greenlight. I think it would do really well on steam as a commerical title :)

Go back in time and turn off the factory, then go back to the present. :)

Nice pixel art, timetravel concept, and music. However the storyline wasn't great and very short. I see in a comment below that you are planning another game? Could it maybe be a completely different game storyline-wise with the same basic concept? Maybe something more challenging and dark?

@youngcurry44 Thanks! I have nothing in the works at the moment, but this short experiment proved there is potential in a game like this. I'm thinking about how to expand the concept. There might be a second game at some point in the near future.

How do I start this ? I subsrcibed, it appeared in my list of games in GameMaker Studio, I downloaded, and clicked play, but nothing. Tried to restart GMS, tried to restart Steam multi times, nothing. What am I missing ?

This is an awesome game! It reminds me of braid or machinarium, in the sense that the game has a "feeling" to it. Also, I like the music, it adds to the eerie atmosphere.

For 72 hours this is superb. The time travel mechanic is amazing - I have no idea how you kept the player and other objects persistant while altering the room around them. I did find one point where the static sound effect didn't stop as I came to the present, and then duplicated on return to the past, but flitting to the present again stopped both sounds. I'm pleased to see you got sounds working too - all the other workshop games I've tried have no sound at all, and I've only just worked out how to make them work myself (albeit not with the 'new' sound engine).

Haha, sorry for the long post, got a bit carried away ^^'. Anyway, superb work :).

The game is pretty fun. The only thing I don't like about it is the music, which doesn't really match the cheerful atmosphere...
