Great remix with some extra maneuvers, quite enjoyable. I understood what the "tutorial" was about AFTER I completed the map ^^'

nice map.

Still a great puzzle and playing all 3 versions again on the trot was good fun.
Nobody No-One 3 Jun, 2018 @ 4:14pm
Very nice advanced version of a very nice map.
bullfrog 5 Mar, 2018 @ 9:32am
Great puzzle and a credible extension of the original. It took some time to work out, but, strangely, it seemed very intuitive, or perhaps I was just lucky. Big thumbs up.

This map is evil and Gigopler is a genius. One of the hardest map i've played but i couldn't resolve. I gave up. Very good job. I'll try more of your maps.

I love this map. I have had it favorited for years. But I didn't know until Ultimax posted the solution I was doing it wrong. I liked the intended solution so much, I spent a little time re-creating the whole map from scratch. This map will only allow the intended solution -

I made a video tutorial showing the intended solution, which I think will help given the comments here:

The first part teaches you to replace the 'in' portal to change what is 'holding' you. If that makes any sense.
lfairban 3 Nov, 2015 @ 10:52am
Great map. Good logic twists. I am not sure what the first part had to do with the second part.
jandlml 11 May, 2015 @ 6:08pm
really liked this chamber
Chelliste 29 Jan, 2015 @ 7:45am
Wonderfully tricky. The key objective is to get yourself and the cube to the far right across the goo where the cube receptacle is, then to put a portal on the funnel before putting the cube on the receptable (which blocks access to the funnel). Then some portal-hopping to ride the funnel to near the exit room, which is now unfizzled. The rest is self-evident.
dire.fcs 27 Jan, 2015 @ 12:58am
Great work, not hard but very well designed.
Flipsy 21 Jan, 2015 @ 1:37pm
Really nice map! I only got through by moving the funnel to push me towards the button while hoping that the cube would land on the cube button before using the floor next to the exit to get myself up to the switch. I pointed the funnel at the button, spawned a new cube, and left. Is that the intended solution? I'm guessing it is because I used every part of the map, but it felt weird and unintended. Either way, great map!

my God that was awesome
nuryk2002 31 Jul, 2014 @ 11:06am
I thought Gig pulled a stinky one and left us with an unresolvable map. I even made my opinion public, but now that I found the solution, I retracted and deleted my previous comment. It's solvable! Definetly the map on which I spent the most time. Good map!
exr 23 Mar, 2014 @ 3:02am
This is an awesome map! Took me about 30 mins to get through, even though I played the previous version before! Excellent job! And my deepest respect for crafting such an awesome puzzle! Keep going!

I'm Stuck. Got cube on floor button by funneling it. Now I need Light bridge to move cube to floor box across water. Went to Light bridge and got up high through small square panel up there. Here I am - high up on Light Bridge and only see one way out to front while keeping control of light bridge. That is a long, sideways jump while shooting a Portal into far lower panel in the front. The idea is the light bridge shoots back towards me and under me - and I land on it. But light bridge never quite catches me. I cannot seem to make it and have tried over 100 times. I keep barely missing.

To test this jump - I no-clipped so that I made the jump and was able to complete the map.
Any tips on how to make this "Mother of all Jumps". Or is there a simpler way to get to the front area while still retaining control of the Light bridge ?

Also - is there a Video ?
I checked Google and YouTube and only see Mevious' version. Thanks
Magilvia 29 Dec, 2013 @ 7:42am
I mean rising myself rapidly shooting funnels one above the other to go over the barrier. Is this intended?
Gigo  [author] 23 Dec, 2013 @ 3:14pm
Funnel Raising?
Magilvia 22 Dec, 2013 @ 1:55pm
Solved in 20 minutes via the (probably) unintended solution involving funnel raising. Could anyone post a video with the intended solution?
Special Agent Dale Cooper 13 Aug, 2013 @ 12:58am
Awesome chamber :)
Not so tough, but a lot of fun!
Thank you very much.
Bobio the Slayer of 8 May, 2013 @ 4:13pm
Even when I realized the concept, I still had to rethink it to redo after a mistake. Gives a person the shakes just trying to not make a mistake. Great Chamber. Now I take a break.........
JodlerRobusto 7 May, 2013 @ 7:54am
That was the toughest chamber I did so far, and those were not few. Excellent work, thanks. It was so tough, I'm actually quite proud of myself now :)

stuck at same part as tony, can't get the cube on the box button...i just know, the bridge must somehow come out through the grill.
help please :(

Use the bridge
Tbone 4 Dec, 2012 @ 10:27pm
is the cube supposed to be able to go through the grate? that's how i got it on the square button...
Ale 27 Nov, 2012 @ 1:47pm
Impressive remix! The way to proceed is very well designed. One thing: i would ask to you if putting the cube on the bridge just above the square button, going into the stream and then make a portal (while the bridge disappear and the cube fall down in the button) to go into the opposite side is the only possible final move.
Dexter 25 Nov, 2012 @ 7:35pm
Managed to get a bit further - got the cube on the cube box button thing - maybe a bit hax how i got there tho. - still stuck :(
Dexter 25 Nov, 2012 @ 7:00pm
I'm stuck - managed to get the cube over to the button that takes away the field, I could get the box on the sideways button but have no idea how to get the box on the box button! Criptic clues would be great. I cant work out why the floor on the bit by the exit door is portable yet nor can I work out how to make a light bridge thru the grill without resetting the cube and getting it destroyed! - you can add me or give a bit of a hint here if you wouldn't mind!
madvtdm 13 Nov, 2012 @ 6:05am
I did the same as Squirly and EvanED
madvtdm 13 Nov, 2012 @ 6:02am
Wow, I agree with Minus... HYPER_INTELLIGENT. This one was fun to solve. I don't know why, but I solved it in less than 45 minutes. Pure luck I guess 'cause I usually work longer than that on your puzzles, sometimes days. Or... is my mind finally getting better at solving these?
Dale Cooper 5 Nov, 2012 @ 9:25am
ok: getting the cube is ovious, getting it over to the button is tough, but not hard for me ;P and getting back by sniping the beam is not hard to figure out either. But afterwards i just jumped in the beam by shooting the portal on the vertical platform 1 unit away from the ground. i could jump in it becouse of the height of the button. then i just shot the portal higher and higher to have my portals not emancipaded by the grill. my question is if that jump was the right way, becouse it looks so unintended to me :/
Gigo  [author] 5 Nov, 2012 @ 8:37am
Well how did you do it?
Dale Cooper 5 Nov, 2012 @ 8:28am
i loved it, but i am not sure about the ending? could you make a soloution video? becouse i am not sure if i did it the intnded way.
Minus 4 Nov, 2012 @ 6:25am
I also played all three versions of "Entanglement" and all of them are very impressive in their own way.
I just call this HYPER-INTELLIGENT !
skraz 28 Oct, 2012 @ 6:00pm
Super. Played all three versions of Entanglement and though some techniques were common in all they each presented a very well thought out and original puzzle. Finding the unique solution in each was hugely gratifying. Congratulations to all.
DJ 23 Oct, 2012 @ 10:56am
Excellent!
EvanED 20 Oct, 2012 @ 7:17pm
So I'm curious what the "endgame" of your intended solution is. I have the box sitting on the box button with a portal on the funnel, and I'm in the half away from the exit. I can get across, but it involves some "funnel wrangling" that doesn't feel like it's what you probably intend. I can post a YouTube video if you want to know exactly what I'm doing.
The Sojourner 20 Oct, 2012 @ 5:11pm
There is unused space in the map (that was significant in the other two maps), so the mechanic is used in what is essentially an entirely different test. Interesting remake, though.
ThatGreekGuy 20 Oct, 2012 @ 5:03am
i cant believe how good that was O.O
SloppyPlatypus 15 Oct, 2012 @ 1:29am
Grrrrrreat!

Was thinking about your "advancify" offer. I made a map with a "fun" idea. It's called Nr7, it has kind of a "new" perspective on the whole momentum thing.
Here is the link if you want to check it out.
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=97737725

And I would like you to try one of my other maps, my Nr4. I think you might enjoy that one. Don't bother with my other maps, not rly that interesting.

War of Entanglement: Multimap Review Update!

• Gig (Remix)
Maximal to Mevious's minimal, Gig's take gives you several more variables to consider while still keeping you thinking several steps ahead, with little room for error. Ironically, it probably makes the least use of the 'entanglement' mechanic, but is perhaps the most puzzling of the set.

~~~ Final Victor ~~~
Mevious is succinct, Gig fires with all barrels, but in the end the one who makes the most use of the titular mechanic remains the one who discovered it first: Azorae.
... like before, though, the only losers here are the ones who miss out on any of these great maps! Subscribe and enjoy!
