Hi, thanks for this very useful mod ! Say, since you baically added a warehouse, is there anyway you could replace the "chest" with a "trapdoor" ? Just nitpicking for coherence ^^''. In any case, thanks, this mod is a time and life saver !
Alliecienti 11 Aug, 2018 @ 8:15pm
Very useful mod not just for the supplies to build out your Hearthfire homes but the warehouse allows fast travel to each of the homes too and you can use the chests inside to store whatever hoarded items you need to unload from your pack and still access from all 3 locations.

Класс!
The Author 11 Jun, 2016 @ 3:30pm
I really enjoy this mod! However, I am working on my second home and I realized something. Each chest goes to the same warehouse. I have all those things either sold from the first house I built, or stored somewhere in my falkreath house. I didn't realize they all go to the same place.

If possible, or if you did this mod in the future in a different way, a suggestion would be to have a third of the items in each room, three separate rooms. That way, it'll be useable anywhere for those three houses.

As it stands, I am going to uninstall, then reinstall. It will probably still work that way, so it's probably fine, but it's something that you could consider.

@DogeKitKat @Kilirous see the workbench with the chest when you first buy the field? There's now another chest next to it, which is actually a "magic" door to the warehouse
L 30 Apr, 2016 @ 10:36pm
where is it?
Kirous 23 Dec, 2015 @ 7:24pm

Wheres the warehouse?
Kimbra 4 Jan, 2015 @ 5:46pm
Again, I'm sure it works well in Nexus, just doesn't seem to be working as a subscribed mod here. I might try the Nexus version.
princess.stomper  [author] 4 Jan, 2015 @ 2:11pm
Thanks. I just downloaded a level 81 no-mod test save from the Nexus, loaded it up with only this mod present, and was able to fast travel all over the place. I'm now systematically reintroducing my other mods one by one to see if there are any other issues or conflicts, but I think this mod's in the clear for now.
Kimbra 4 Jan, 2015 @ 10:20am
Sounds like a good idea. Thanks for the information. Hope all goes well.
princess.stomper  [author] 4 Jan, 2015 @ 10:13am
OK, I'm also trying to root out a mod conflict in my own game, so obviously if I identify any issues with this mod I'll revert it right away - but since the Nexus has had it for 3 months, that's why I presumed it was safe to upload. Incidentally, the old version is up at Nexus, too, if you'd rather keep using that.
Kimbra 4 Jan, 2015 @ 9:52am
Thank you, I didn't use this mod from Nexus and it has been working fine until now. It was plain cheat chests when I used it a few days back, but now it has the warehouse. Since your post was on Jan. 1, I assumed that when you changed it for the mod here. I don't tend to use Nexus mods. I have tried various things, but now have completely uninstalled the game and am reinstalling it.
princess.stomper  [author] 4 Jan, 2015 @ 9:32am
Here is the file at Nexus: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/25310/?
The new version was uploaded there on 22 September, last user comment was 8 December, no reports of issues or problems there. The crash bug is a known issue with savegame bloat, especially among those who use mods. If you don't want to start a new game, you could try downloading a save cleaner, though I've never had much luck with those. Also, try disabling the auto-save features; they are well known for corrupting saves.
Kimbra 4 Jan, 2015 @ 8:46am
This has totally corrupted my game. I don't believe this mod has been downloaded 8000 times since you changed in on Jan. 1, just a few days ago. I myself have been using this mod, in it's original form probably since you first put it up. I have loved it. However, since you have changed the mod, just a few days ago, it has totally corrupted my game. I cannot fast travel without crashing. I have gone back to an old save, and my game it still doing this. This began to happen immediately after I went to into the new warehouse. This is something wrong here.
princess.stomper  [author] 4 Jan, 2015 @ 3:28am
Hi, lk. This new version has been downloaded over 8000 times at Nexus, so I think if it was a problem with the mod, someone would have mentioned it. Sorry about your save.
Kimbra 3 Jan, 2015 @ 10:50pm
Ok, everytime I fast travel since I went into the warehouse, the game crashes. I have uninstalled the mod, and the game is still crashing. I will be going back to an old save tomorrow, making the assumption that my current file is corrupt. None of this was happening before I went into the warehouse. Please change this mod back. It worked very well before the warehouse.
Kimbra 3 Jan, 2015 @ 10:39pm
The Warehouse seems to be crashing my game. I started Winstad Manor, went into the warehouse and my game has been crashing ever since. I will uninstall this mod and see if that makes the difference.
princess.stomper  [author] 1 Jan, 2015 @ 5:08am
I've updated the mod to change the chests into doors, which now lead to a warehouse cell full of chests containing the items. The lumber was previously present in the chests but could not be seen as it wasn't set up as a misc item. I've changed this now so you can get the wood, and you should now have the items you need to build and furnish your house.
Furykuiku'l 28 Dec, 2014 @ 5:09am
those that are having trouble getting wood that have joined the stormcloaks use hod in riverwood just enter his house and ask to cut it yourself he says sure freind and it wont cost you anything
Purple_Fish 2 Jul, 2014 @ 1:00pm
Very helpful, but i have a list of stuff you need more of. I don't know how much, so I can't help you there, this is from lakeview manor with armory, alchemy tower, and enchanting tower: glass, Leather strips, goat horns, grand soul gem (grand), iron fittings, bear pelt, mudcrab chitin, sabrecat pelt, sabrecat tooth, wolf pelt, large antlers, slaughterfish scales, horker tusk, goat hide, sabre cat snow pelt, steel ingot, orichalcum ingot, refined moonstone, refined malachite, and quicksilver ingots. This might just be me glitching, or not, but I thought this list might be helpful.
Skyrimdude1 3 May, 2014 @ 6:52pm
make one for all those logs please. im having problems with borlound in falkreath he won't talk to me
rll131s 14 Nov, 2013 @ 5:19pm
Awesome and has a lot more than you really need. Not sure why anyone is complaining because this is a wicked mod
princess.stomper  [author] 3 Nov, 2013 @ 1:24am
I do plan to update this but I am very, very busy IRL at the moment
Skyrimnut 2 Nov, 2013 @ 4:56am
Works fine for me. Yes, you have to go get extra wood, but is that really such a big deal? There's a lumber mill in Falkreath that'll sell to you and there's the mill on the lake that will as well. Just a short walk, kill a couple of wolves, some spriggans, and you're there. No problem for a true Dovahkiin. :B1: You also provided more than enough ingots to do some good old-fashioned leveling in the smithing department. Thank you. Nice mod.
JakeTheRipper 29 Sep, 2013 @ 4:49am
dude you're going to have to put a lot more gold in the chest so we can the lumber we need from the local saw mill
plsnoscreenshot 30 Jun, 2013 @ 3:43am
Good I found that out 4 hours ago
but theres no wood thingy there
princess.stomper  [author] 29 Jun, 2013 @ 11:35pm
The chests are next to the workbench when you start to build the house. You have to get the deeds and stuff first; this just saves you hunting around for the actual bits to build.
UnoriginalDude 29 Jun, 2013 @ 11:33pm
were are the chests you cant miss the most inportant info on the description

StormRider1224 7 May, 2013 @ 1:14pm

Yokai 5 May, 2013 @ 10:27pm
had 3 times the amount of everything except glass. and using help glass 4 didnt come up with anything useful either. so i just doubled the amount of glass in the chest. :D
princess.stomper  [author] 4 May, 2013 @ 3:06am
Kol, "downvoting" is only when you use the "thumbs down" icon, and is only wrong if you press that button for a reason other than that you genuinely think the mod is poorly implemented. In other words, criticism is fine - so long as it's aimed at the mod!

Sorry you're having trouble finding the chests. I had put them right next to the workbench where you build the house, so I'm surprised that a couple of people are having problems finding them. Could it be a conflict with another mod?
Fireheart The Blue Phoenix 2 May, 2013 @ 5:24am
Princess.Stomper, i'm having a hard time finding the chests, can u plz update the description to include the location of the chests so that people in the future can locate and praise this mod .
thanks,
=KoL= Agent N3Rd_R@g3
PS,
if this comes across to you as downvoting it is not intended
HeuristicCaveman 3 Mar, 2013 @ 5:42am
Not sure... where these chests are... are they the one's next to the workbench?
kevin1 19 Jan, 2013 @ 3:20am
i found it
princess.stomper  [author] 18 Jan, 2013 @ 3:36pm
I know you didn't, Tanis. *That* comment was aimed at Arcamean. :)
princess.stomper  [author] 18 Jan, 2013 @ 3:33pm
Tanis, thanks, and accepted. While we're on the subject, downvoting a mod because you disapprove of the author can get you banned from some mod-hosting sites. It's best not to get into that habit.
princess.stomper  [author] 18 Jan, 2013 @ 3:30pm
Arcamean, I don't know how it is possible that you thought my comment was directed at you. You did not repeatedly post links to another mod in this thread. To the other poster, your apology is accepted. :)
Arcamean 18 Jan, 2013 @ 3:07pm
If your tantrum was directed at me, I was not hijacking nor advertising a mod. If there is a mod like that out there I don't know. Please don't don't a hissy fit though, I never stole your guests nor did I insult the mod. It's a nice enough mod and I'm sure some folks will really like it. Rather than throwing a childish fit you could have considered it as perhaps a seperate mod of yours? Yes I know... so much easier to think people are trying to "steal your thunder" /eyeroll and downvote.
princess.stomper  [author] 18 Jan, 2013 @ 3:00pm
It's extremely bad manners to hijack someone else's thread to advertise your own mod. While of course I encourage other people to make their own mods, it's just rude to barge into someone else's page to blow your own trumpet, like turning up to someone's party and inviting all the guests to leave with you. Not cool.
Arcamean 10 Jan, 2013 @ 8:50pm
Mmm, while I think I'd prefer to make it so house items are forged in larger quantities yet still appropriate. IE, Instead of one iron for ten nails per click you'd do 10 iron for 100 nails per click.
kevin1 8 Jan, 2013 @ 12:40pm
cant find the chest
Kimbra 3 Jan, 2013 @ 11:41am
This was great. I really didn't care to run around and find all of the building materials. Had my houses up in no time. Thank you!
