Easily the best Hulk Hogan CPU AI I have come across on Fire Pro!
Senator Phillips  [author] 25 Sep, 2019 @ 10:39pm
Hogan used more heelish moves even at his Hulkamania prime than one would think, it's a shame there's not a proper back rake in the game. The armbar is something he pulled out on rare occasion, mostly in Japan, but it is absolutely something he did in the time frame. Appreciate the comment, in any case.

Eye rack, throat choke and armbars don't really feel like classic hogan. Other than that, perfect!
Batou_73 17 Mar, 2019 @ 2:08pm
Just simmed vs Tanahashi. Loving him.
Senator Phillips  [author] 17 Mar, 2019 @ 7:31am
He most certainly did! I gave him a standing leg drop to offset the issues that I've had getting the running combination priority to work, he's had some subtle appearance work, some logic cleanup and last but not least, got the much-welcomed Knuckle Arrow Rush B to replace the American Punch Rush.
Batou_73 17 Mar, 2019 @ 7:27am
ooh awesome, looks like he got an update!
Kip_1985 14 Jan, 2019 @ 5:00pm
Thanks. Both Hogan and Dusty are now posted. I've done 2 sims with them so far. The first was a rather uneventful win with Hogan going over in around 18 minutes, but boy did the second deliver. Match Evaluation: 100%. Length: 52 Min 49 Sec. Hogan wins with the Axe Bomber. Terrific match all around, even more so with their respective street gear attires on. Dusty did everything he could but in the end the might of Hulkamania ran wild. Next up to port are Flair and Savage. This is awesome and completely redeems the PS4 version for me.
Senator Phillips  [author] 14 Jan, 2019 @ 4:17pm
No problemo, Kip! I appreciate you moving them over to the PS4.
Kip_1985 14 Jan, 2019 @ 3:33pm
Hey Sen, just wanted to ask your permission if I can post these on the PS4 workshop. I've finished Hogan, with other 80's edits like Dusty coming soon after. Are you alright with me posting these for the PS4 users? Thanks for the tremendous work and hope to see more real-life wrestlers from you soon.

Music?

That wasn't a glitch, just a priority that doesn't always work as well as it should, due to the quick get up times after running moves to downed opponents. As I had it set, Hogan hits the big boot, sequences to the ear cupping taunt that links to the leg drop, that links to a pin, which is the way the sequence played out in real life. As I now have it, the taunt is 50% likely to happen, as I still want to see that as a possiblity, but the other 50% of the time, he'll just go straight to the leg drop off the big boot.

Let me know if there's still any issues and I'll do what I can to fix them.

Ran 5 sims with Hogan vs Goldberg. Hogan lost everytime.
Im not sure if its a glitch but basically Hogan did his Big Boot so many tims during the match but after each time, he just taunted and refused to follow it up with the Leg Drop. If he did the Leg Drop he would have won everytime.

Right, Senator, People seem to forget that In NJPW Hogan was actually PASSABLE wrestling wise.
Senator Phillips  [author] 19 Aug, 2017 @ 12:51pm
Yes, vestiges of NJPW Hogan. He actually used the move on VERY rare occasions when he wanted to show that he coud do more than punch, kick, scoop slam, big boot and leg drop.
Batou_73 19 Aug, 2017 @ 12:39pm
I was susprised to see this Hogan doing a flying armbar. Was this intentional?
Lunch_Box 9 Aug, 2017 @ 7:31pm
I run my own promotion, set in the 80's, filled with my own edits and occasionally I like to sprinkle in real life appropriate to the times edits to recreate the territory feel.

This Hogan, donned in his American Made attire captured my promotion's title and is holding it hostage while he tears through every challenger I set in front of him.

It's frustrating yet equally amazing at the same time. One day one of my guys is going to take him down and I'm going to mark the fuck out.
Bravo on the edit and most importantly the logic.
TowerDefender 31 Jul, 2017 @ 1:48pm
For latecomers, the "ascend the ropes and stand there" problem was a glitch in the game, and not a problem unique to this Edit. At this point, it's been patched.

Senator is tops - and I suggest looking at more of his stuff.
Antagonist 21 Jul, 2017 @ 4:54pm
Thumbs up.

Great Hulk Hogan!

FACK THA HOK HOGAN I PUT HIM IN DA CAMEL CLUTCH
Senator Phillips  [author] 18 Jul, 2017 @ 12:32am
Excellent suggestion, and I've updated Hogan as such. The default hairline is fine for Hollywood and later eras of Hogan, but for the 80s version, he needs a bit more hair, heh. I didn't find a suitable hair part for the job until now. Thanks again!
Yon-Nos 16 Jul, 2017 @ 10:33pm
A tip for making the hairline more accurate. Add Head Outfit Part 175 under the other hair parts. Here's some screenshots of the modded result on another author's Hogan:

Damn it must be bugged, oh well. Wait for them to sort the logic problems out I guess, thank you. He looks great!
Senator Phillips  [author] 15 Jul, 2017 @ 3:16pm
To add to that, I double checked, Hogan does not have the ability to climb the ropes, has zero across the board in any logic category related to climbing the ropes and has no moves on the ropes, either. If anyone can confirm for me that their downloaded version is the same, I would appreciate it.
misfits859 15 Jul, 2017 @ 3:15pm
Yeah, I went in to his edit and noticed that after two matches. It looked correct but he kept doing it. It's not a deal breaker; just an annoyance. Also, I'd agree with the leg drop. He uses it a bit too often maybe. Keep up the good work.
Senator Phillips  [author] 15 Jul, 2017 @ 3:12pm
I haven't seen this in my own simming, so this could be a glitch. He doesn't even have the skill to ascend the ropes! Weird stuff, and I'm glad you're bringing it to my attention.
misfits859 15 Jul, 2017 @ 3:03pm
I noticed the ropes thing too. He goes to the top and waits for the opponent to get up and then he climbs down. He does this every time the opponent is down in the corner.
Senator Phillips  [author] 15 Jul, 2017 @ 11:48am
Ascend the ropes? I have his skill set to not do so at all. I do know I set the Atomic Leg Drop a bit high in large damage, and that will be fixed.
CMG 15 Jul, 2017 @ 7:28am
hey could you change the logic so he doesn't ascend the ropes so much and only uses the legdrop on a critical opponent? i find he uses it too often. Id copy him and change it myself but I'd lose all the wonderful attires. thank you!
