I have kind of an odd question. When you make an NPC your housecarl what factions does it add them to?

tecknode: you need to select the npc first, and it doesn't mean there are 3 digits

This phrasing "addtofaction XXX" maybe "player.addtofaction XXX 1" but the returned code is MORE than XXX, one Help return I got = 08002310.

Need exact/correct phrasing for command.

I killed him, and Gregor (or w/e) is next at Heljarchen Hall, they take up too much room and who knows what they get up to while I'm out slaying dragons and freezing Nechromancers and the like xD

For that Windstad Manor you obviously have to use the HF version of this mod.

He's been assigned to Winstad Manor and I will have to kill him, but then, will be without a housecarl, I have a steward (Uthgerd) and a chosen wife (Hroki) but would also love the male gigilo to beat it xD I want a Hareem!

I don't want a housecarls i have, how doI change to female one without killing him... I have tried a few mods, but they dont overwrite the housecarls already in situ (Valdimir) help?

I did some research a while back and actually, a "husk-arl" was a cooking and cleaning servant. Skyrim turned it into armed bodyguard, but it would be more accurate to history, and more accurate to living daily life, if they also use the cookpots and sweep floors sometimes. I mean, every person has to eat, and every person must clean up the dirt they bring in, if they keep a clean home :-)

Is there a faction code for these housecarls? So that I could (using console commands) add anyone I wanted to that faction and make them a housecarl?

Till i update the description type "sqv lh_housecarls" and you'll be able to see the potential ones with their name and ref_id scrolling with PgUp/Dn. They are the hirelings, companions non circle, two orcs and a few other followers that fill the fighter profile and don't hve complex quests.
Don't forget to check the Hearthfire version if you have the addon.

And where can I find these potential houscarls?

Did you checked your options? If she was already with the blades when you subscribed to this mod you should be able to ask someone else imidiatly to be housecarl, if you sent it afterwards you should still be able to dismiss her.

She's already at the blades now doI have to start a new game to dismiss her?

You can. She'll go to the local tavern when you fire her.

So I can dismiss Lydia and replace her with someone else? Can I then take Lydia to the Blades? Or is she gone forever?

I plan to add, after HF support, a single additional housecarl besides 8 you normally have, he/she'll be your Winterhold housecarl but you'll be able to select a custom house even outside Winterhold. Tough it will be recommended for RP purposes to chose a house in that hold, the hire dialogue will be something like "I need a housecarl in Winterhold".
On the other hand you'll be able to use followers mods that allow you to set home for any of them, but no more than 9 housecarls will be ever available.

this mod looks like it's going to be really great...will it work with custom houses though or just the houses you earn at the main cities?

Finally a way to get rid of those pesky freeloading housecarls without resorting to murder or having to go out of my way to have them killed in combat.

I'll be keeping an eye on this mod :)

Stewards? This is about housecarls and you can get as many as vanilla homes you have...2 in your case.

important question.How many Stewards can you have.If you get 2 homes?
