Scaro Bloodblade: The PaNtheon was built by the romans, the greek built the PaRthenon.
Scaro Bloodblade 3 Dec, 2020 @ 5:56pm
Just wanted to correct something, The Pantheon was build by the Greeks not the roman's, The Roman Empire destroyed all Pantheons since it wasn't to their gods, Please get your historic facts correct.

SirPrizing: any of these could be conflicting if have too many https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/workshop/browse/?appid=8930&searchtext=Pantheon&childpublishedfileid=0&browsesort=textsearch&section=home

other wise load the mod, esc(go back), un sub, re-sub ,re-load mod again.

Great mod, but for some reason I am not able to downlaod this mod. I have both GNK and BNW.
I'll click on Subscribe, it will take an inordinate amount of time to load, and then the mod won't show up in my mod list.
Any thoughts on what I should do?

The temple of Zeus is at Olympia, which was destroyed. The Parthenon, to Athene is at Athens and the PaNtheon is in Rome

regalmanemperor 3 Sep, 2013 @ 8:40pm
does this work with BNW?

Pouakai  [author] 12 Aug, 2013 @ 11:38am
Both are impossible with XML alone. Also, the splash is from Assassin's Creed (2 I think), so that's why it's from that age

Can you make the le Panthéon wonder? It's in Paris.
Pouakai  [author] 14 Jun, 2013 @ 12:58am
That's the Parthenon, it's the Pantheon in Rome
JJOtterBear 12 Jun, 2013 @ 11:36am
i though the pantheon was in Athens? or is that the Parthenon?
Zark 4 Mar, 2013 @ 8:44am
Personally, seeing as the Hagia Sophia does the same thing AND adds culture it's a little underpowered. However, I recognize that your point was to make something early on, thereby giving it balance. But seeing it only gives a one time bonus it's still very underpowered. Given that the Pantheon has since been used as a tomb, perhaps you could give it a bonus tied to expended Great People, such as adding Faith each time they're used? It's a rarer occurance so it wouldn't be overpowered, I think.

What other mods do you have active?

Great work ! Thank you !!!

@udhessi: I absolutely love that idea, and I'll definately do something like that at some point. The thing is that something like that would be too big for a standard wonder mod, so it'd have to be in something like a modpack, which I convinently have one of in progress.

@ Anthony: I'll do the Parthenon at some point, maybe the entire Acropolis. As a matter of fact, I'm in the middle of an assignment for Classical Studies on the Acropolis, so it's definately on the list of stuff to do.

For everyone: In my topic at CivFanatics someone has kindly donated a 3D model, and pointed out that 3D models are indeed now possible to add in to the game for wonders. A LUA script for a new effect has also been provided, so a new version will be out sometime in December with the new features. Cheers guys!

I thought this said Parthenon and I got really excited, but its just the Pantheon. Of all the wonders in civ 4 the parthenon was my favorite, and I can't believe it wasn't included. Please for the love of god can you remake the Parthenon wonder mod. I would love you forever.
udhessi 26 Oct, 2012 @ 5:33pm
More a suggestion than a comment, but how about wonders that would allow you to build special units in the city e.g. Marienburg, where you could produce Livonian Schwertbrüder (swordsmen that earn faith for kills) or Teutonic knights (knights that can be used as inquisitors, pretty much as conquistadores can be used as settlers)
or Alamut, that would damage ennemy units like a citadel and give to the melee units built in the city the same bonus as the japanese trait "Bushido" and the faculty to heal more quickly when garrisoned in this city ?
Plus some addtional perks, to be balanced.
Would that I could do it myself...
UnJourSansFin 19 Oct, 2012 @ 12:28am
Cela a l'air pas mal fait ^^
DerEider 16 Oct, 2012 @ 6:00pm
Thanks for the bene info. Even if there is some duplication, there are bad guy civ's out there who might just build one before you so it's good to have a spare. Playing a game now in which "unmet" civ built Pantheon and the Brit's just built Hagia Sophia, so sometimes even 2 is not enough.
Pouakai  [author] 16 Oct, 2012 @ 11:23am
This comes a whole era earlier than the Hagia Sophia though
TooPoorfagForDota+ 16 Oct, 2012 @ 10:26am
This seems a little redundant with Hagia Sophia giving the exact same thing, but nice idea thought, would definatly subscribe if it would bring another bonus.
isnorden 14 Oct, 2012 @ 11:34pm
With all the times I've played as Rome lately, what else can I say but THANK YOU? Subscribed, rated and faved...
Pouakai  [author] 14 Oct, 2012 @ 10:26pm
You can't sell wonders back, but regardless it still provides +2 faith and a Great Engineer point
DerEider 14 Oct, 2012 @ 9:59pm
@Pouakai, is there any Culture or Great Person benefit? Seems like a lot of effort for a one-shot GP. Maybe a strategy could be to build it, get the GP, then click on it to sell it back.
