You should call this Mithril Armor. Mithril was similar statwise in Oblivion and it's a material from norse myth. This could be the Skyrim version.

okay now I'm confused, what do you mean by how do you use it? do you mean how to install or how to get the armor? as for the chainmail to scale, it is possible especially now to do so, the two armors are already similar I just need to figure out how to get the knife on the on the shoulder of the Male one. I only have nifskope at the moment so actually adjusting the female armor is out of the question.

Also, how do we use it?

Could you retexture the chainmail to be scaled plates, like in the scaled armor? and/or make the male version use the female's mesh, adjusted for the physique, of course?

the female armor is an edit of karliah's which has a knife on the shoulderpad, the male however is a retextured guildmaster mesh.

Why's there a knife on the female shoulder but not the male?

when that happens for me it usually means I'm missing a required mod, one that has been converted into an .esm format

Right-eo, I guess it keep crashing? I seem to have a bug/glitch that causes my game to crash every now and then when I leave whiterun via the front gate instead of fast travelling and it's been happening for a while, I still haven't figured out what exactly is going wrong.

I only use female characters. I haven't tried the armor on a male character yet. Would you like me to test it on a male character for you?

I can see thee bracers in first person mode but not the arms. Is there anything you can do to fix that? I really like this mod.

I don't know why either, perhaps it's because the male texture isn't as detailed/contrasted?

Chainmail looks weird. Is that because I desaturated it to make it silver instead of a dull yellow?

I like the change of color with the helmet but the chainmail looks a little weird

A gillie suit is basically a suit that is camoflagued and has parts of the surroundings like grass or leaves on it.

@Angel_of_Blood, it should be working, have you tried removing the mod completely then resubscribing, that may work.

oh you should make a gillie suit made out of like tundra feild grass and then a snow version and evn a like mountain one with mountain flowers on it in some places but it has very increased sneak enchantments cool idea people havent jumped on

I've subscribed but the Scout Armor mod does not show up in-game. It used to in the past, so I'm thinking it is a glitch on the STEAM Community. Is there any way you can find out? It is a very cool mod and goes great with ALL of the Elven races.

the boots look like karliahs shoes for a female and standard thieves guild boots for a male I couldn't think of how to make them different, as for the actual trousers they are completely chainmail, It is just a retex made into a standalone, nothing more nothing less

You need some shots of the lower legs. Do they have some sort of boots? Knee protection, etc?

I had the same problem - the armor was invisible on my character.

I subscribed to the mod, and the armor was craftable, but when I went to put it on... my character disappeared aside from his head and weapons.
