Amazing map, difficult enough until I tried to experiment with cube and permanent laser . Nicely done.

Blindrun
Phew, had quite the time with this one. Got stuck wondering how TF to have a portal in the permanent laser area AND the cube in there at the same time. Using the temp laser up top is pointless since you don’t have access to the perm laser room which is the only way the catcher that activates the piston that allows you to walk through the portal with the perm laser has any use, and I found no way to have the portal in the perm laser room without setting up the laser cube to activate the big piston platform on the temp laser platform, until I discovered the trick.

I said in your last map that I think “tough angle” puzzles are a little cheesy, but I don’t consider this to be one of them - all the portal surfaces you need at each step are clear to see, it’s just a matter of whether you think about them or not. And it took me a long 30 minutes to see what I needed to! Since I’d acquainted myself with the rest of the puzzle elements fairly well in my considerations of how to proceed the rest fell into place very quickly after I got through the big hurdle.

Difficulty: 7/10 (higher for those who haven’t played the original)
Enjoyed: 8/10

first move was hard for me

My playthrough, 1 minute: https://youtu.be/WyMa0vtOL6c not sure if suboptimal. Good map!

Nice map

I enjoyed it. At first I was intimidated by all the extra elements, but it turns out it wasn't really that much harder than Azorae's Pinpoint.

Oh my gosh, appears complicated, but so simple. The moment I figured it out :steamfacepalm: Awesome map :steamhappy:

Wow, that took a while. As usual Gig, frustrating turns to elation once you get it. Thanks!

Great advanced version of Azorae's excellent map. Playing Azorae's map 1st definitely helps in solving yours, but your additions add to the complexity in a clever and enjoyable way.

Super

Excellent map. I figured out most of the solution, but I was looking in the wrong place for the answer. Then I changed the order of what I was doing and found the answer. I couldn't figure out how to get a portal insde the chamber with the continious beam and get back on top with the cube. It is sort of deceptive, why would you use a cube to turn a beam when there is a portal surface nearby that will do the same thing.

Wow ! this was a struggle for me. After 45 minutes I gave up and first played the non-advanced Pinpoint. After that i came back to this one and finished it in 5 minutes :)

Intended solutions use all the elements...
not-paradiser 29 Apr, 2016 @ 3:41pm
So it's about angles?
Onkel_b 26 Apr, 2016 @ 6:53am
I have a solution here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/id/OnkelBb/screenshot/269463939072775921 But is this the intended solution? I don't understand your guys' solution hints. I needed only a few steps to get to this point. And didn't need the middle elevator at all. Can someone please comment on that or post your solution?

Nice laser map, the timer only needed once to get up to get the cube.
Pamsy 29 Jan, 2016 @ 10:15pm
Amazing map. Seems truly impossible, yet easy to execute in the end. Hint: the laser catchers are used in the order, by height, 1/1/4/2/3. Hint 2: the first use of the cube should be in the chamber with the glass ceiling.

oh and Azorae of course!
batman 17 Nov, 2014 @ 11:12am
it is so simple in execution...but it took no less than 2 hours. I guess I'm stupid. Gig thanks for your divine maps
Talisac 17 Sep, 2014 @ 4:49am
Good map, had a hard time to figure the move which unlocks the whole puzzle..
Special Agent Dale Cooper 21 Aug, 2013 @ 7:04am
Great!
With the exception of your puzzles that have their difficulty in the execution department, I found this to be the most challenging of your maps and the one that took me the longest time. Very rewarding in the end. Thank you :)

I spent quite a lot of time figuring out the solution even though I solved the original version without much difficulty. It took more than an hour to solve this lol

One of your best reworks, very well designed.
kg de muste la jumate 14 Jan, 2013 @ 3:59am
I found a solution how you can shortcut the map. You can see what I'm talking about in this screeshot http://cloud-2.steampowered.com/ugc/560963938122484295/3E69AC0FD6C2CF3ED1B74B44C6E4B719E157A6BD/
I'm guessing this is just an unfortunate coincidence since you can solve the map without using all the elements this way. Azorae's original map didnt have this problem probably because the stairs were narrower.
The MAD Fool 16 Nov, 2012 @ 10:01am
Very nice. Easy to see the goal at the end, but hard to put it all together.

DeusEx_Machina 16 Nov, 2012 @ 1:45am
@Squirly: Thanks, that was a great hint. Once I figured out the first step in Azore's map, the rest was easy because I spent so much time on that map I already figured out the rest.

Awesome Map
Dale Cooper 10 Nov, 2012 @ 5:54am
Wow i really loved this map. it was really hard but after trying the original map everything made sense and i got it in 3 minutes or so. Great map.

deus ex machina: play the original map and this one will be much easier, just search for pinpoint in the workshop and klick on azore´s pinpoint.
DeusEx_Machina 5 Nov, 2012 @ 1:39am
I have tried quite a while, but i can not figure this out :(
Could someone post a solution in spoiler tags?
