@flipnoteguy2013 ; 2 of my games have the same error since a GMS update came, i have already the fix for both, but i am having a hard time "trying to upload". I hope it let me in this coming days. cheers!:healthvial:

Whoa, this is the first adventure game i've seen using this, it looks like fun! I can tell you worked hard on this, and im sure it will pay off! Keep up the good work!

At first it was a TD prototype, then by doing some experimentation it ended with that mechanic. It was quick and fun (the feeling to go anywhere). Also after the idea was set, i took some references from "Desktop destroyer-games". : )

Well i am working in other proyects right now.. But yes, i am highly considering to put some work in both games i have here. Some reworked mechanics and new things... : P

@diegocrusius Many thanks for all the observations!. Ineed i admit the game need some more feedback to let the player know what happen, thats a fact with games with new or diferent mechanics. Dont know yet if i am updating more the game or moving to make another new one,, The experience and portfolio is there for all of us.. so, it will be wise to take some time in develop of better mechanics to have a clean comunication with all the players. Again Thanks, and we hope for better games ; )

Hi Undare. Now the competition is over, I would like to add a few things:

Besides your game not being the winner, I can safely say that it would get my vote, and I wouldnt be (much) sad if my game, Crazy Tracks, had lost to yours. Kronorift is miles better than the winner, as it has great potential and I’d be happy if you try to make a bigger project out of it, maybe trying to publish it via greenligh.

With the best of intentions I would like to suggest some things. For instance, I think its a bit weird how fast you can move your cursor. There should be a way to limit cursor speed, or players will lose track of things. After a few minutes I get a bit tired. I think thats because I don't understand intuitively whats going on. I mean I see a lot of monsters but I don't 'feel' they are much different. I just know some seems weaker than others for instance, but I would like their differences to be more clear.

Again I believe you have a real game here, a real winner.

Right! @diegocrusius .. When you destroy all the enemies A portal appear in the center (normally cyan colored) When you are ready to go next stage you step in there and wait around 3 or 4secs. then you are transported to the next Stage. And don´t worry, ESC is assigned to End the Game. And I am glad you enjoy the video, things get that intense from time to time in the Game ; )

when I start the game Im thrown in a screen where I cant interact with the game, so I tried to click on `new game` only to restart the same screen. After doing this several times it seems that the game has indeed started because then I control some sort of crystal and then I can select a stage to play.

In that stage I control a guy (which is also my cursor) and I used it to attack enemies, and after killing all them nothing happens. I waited and I waited until I got tired.

Then after pressing ESC the game crashes. I have no idea whats going on, though I liked the video.

@Infinte_Ammo_Max : When you are in the map in the upper left corner, there is a Structure named "tutorial" (between the clouds).. There you can learn the basics.. The rest you can find in the structure named "Knowledge area". Thank you for asking. : )

@Tehudan : The "Spacebar" menu is an Inventory, There you have some Quick Special Items worth One-time-Use per Campaing. But thats for now, I planned to do a more logic work for them in the full game. As for Upgrades you have the Shop menu at bottom. (the Q,W,E,R keys). Btw Thanks for playing, Soon more classes and Overall Improvements.. ; )

Hi Undare, I checked out your latest Update of the game. Impressive work so far.
I like the new monster types, especially the undead and the attacking ones. The
new class is nice, but I prefer the lightning mage (That's how I call him). By the
way: What kind of menu appears, when you hit the space bar? Is it for upgrades?

@LeD : Indeed, they will not kill you at all,, but as i said to @malaka, Your character is still Exposed to harm while you are outside the screen. And when you "teleport out" maybe you can land in a explosive or in an invisible enemy (coming in next updates :) ).
So, dont mind if someone want to use that tactic, Risk will be always present.

Another bug can be that this game works in 4:3 and fullscreen leaving black spaces on sides for me to exploit, if I move mouse outside the game area I can teleport character whereever I want on the sides, with this there won't be any "enemies kill you anyway" kind of thing.

The Update 1.0.1 Its Now Live!!!.. You can now download the new version.

@malaka , for the "glitch issue" ; Still you character is exposed to damage when you do that, and time is running allowing enemies to advance, in next updates i will take care of that.
As for the coin crash, is now solved.
But, thanks for the glitch, i didn´t realize of it... its kind of funny.

Okay thanks for the response. By the way I have a few things to say about the game.
1)I was playing survival and I could glitch jump by moving the mouse fast down the side of the screen. Then all the money would flow to me.
2)After glich jumping for a while I got fatal error with copper coin which i can send you if you like
Don't think its much of a probem tho.
3)maybe add different levels like Easy, normal, hard

@malaka The tutorial i used for a clue was the "Health bars example". After that i develop my own codes for especific situatios. The other inspiration was the "Desktop destroyer games". But that was 8 years ago.

I like this game. Being in this lovely little world makes me feel comfortable.

(Maybe you could adjust the attack mode to auto attack while the mouse button is held down.)
