I really like this mod, but the armour values are set so high. Does anyone know how I can edit the armour values to be a bit more balanced?

I think you may need to redo the Light Helmet version to fit lol as the Light version of the Dawnguard Helm is an open faced one

I feel like the coloration on this armor set is too uniform and that the details that make the original armor set are lost as a result. This mod would really shine if it had the dark, ebony quality but also had some other colors that really help to show the features of the armor. Silvery bordering or patterns would be one great way to do it.

i can't upgrade the crossbow. is that normal?

Finally High-End Armor that does not look like something out of a Disney Cartoon. Great! I really love the look and feel of this Armor and Weapon set!
If I could add a wish, I would wish for an open helmet so I can tell who's in it, but that's just me, carry on with the good work :-)

This mod has it all...almost perfect too. There is one small detail regarding the crossbow that was over-looked and mearly an oversight due the magnitude of this ultimately fantastic mod.

Knowing that the Dawnguard are the creme da la creme and they deserve to be using the best equipment and the only way to improve a crossbow is to "increase" the reloading speed so you can shoot bolts as fast as bow.

So Monty, then and only then will your mod be perfect!
Aside from the speed adjustment, it is very close to perfection as is.

is the Dwarven Crossbow dark as well? because that'd be awesome. If it's not thats cool I'll just manage with the regularcrossbow. :) Thanks for the awesome mod!!

However, is it just me or are the textures of much lower quality than those of the original Dawnguard armor?

This is an awesome mod. The look of the dark armor is perfect. In my opinion the only thing that would make it better is, if the crossbow was faster at reloading, if you could enchant the helm, and if you could wear a circlet under the helm.
