o_siyeza  [author] 30 Aug, 2017 @ 1:35pm
i will try to fix it as soon as i can, but it may take a while, cause im away this week
MysticFelines 30 Aug, 2017 @ 10:53am
@o_siyeza, some of the props appear entirely black. it's being caused by WotC's new shader
o_siyeza  [author] 29 Aug, 2017 @ 11:32am
@Lexi, i dont have the expansion. What is the issue?
MysticFelines 29 Aug, 2017 @ 9:38am
partially broken by WotC
o_siyeza  [author] 22 Aug, 2017 @ 3:01pm
I realized that having the armor visuals available for all tiers is not a good idea. So next update i will remove them and add the Uniform Manager as a requisite, so you can use them in any tier anyway.

PD: My next mod will be a Character pool, with a lot of character designs.

@Thinkbomb no problem im lost in a 8 hours bus journey, i have time 😄
thinkbomb 20 Jul, 2017 @ 10:52am
@o_siyeza cool beans. technical wording with this sort of stuff inevitably leads to ambiguity. thanks for the reply ^^
o_siyeza  [author] 20 Jul, 2017 @ 10:24am
So it does not replace all those mods, i would have to create an unoficial version of every mod to do that. It just contain a fixed replacement of the assets i like. You can see it like a fan made mix and fix. Cause that is indeed what this mod is.
o_siyeza  [author] 20 Jul, 2017 @ 10:18am
This mod contains fixed versions of some armors of those mods. It does not replace them entirely. There are tons of mods that unlock the civilian armors of the game, or that contain new civilian like armor models. All of them present the problem of rendering the guns in more or less wrong positions, the only way i know of fixing this is editing each model. I just took some of the armors i liked the most, fixed them and put them here to create this mod. Also included some other props i liked.

I'm a little confused - is this a straight REPLACEMENT pack for said outfits or is it a FIX that changes properties in those packs?
o_siyeza  [author] 19 Jul, 2017 @ 3:20pm
@Dragon32 I will try ;)

@o_siyeza:
OK, cool. I just like to know what changes have been made (I really like reading a good change log, be it game or program or what have you). I pointed Vortex Pixalation here from her Armorless Kevlar Parts mod page, other mods I use you've already let them know.
Hope you have a good time away!

@Dragon32 so far there is now new content, there was a problem with the hoods, so i had to fix te textures and update the game a couple of times, since my computer was mixing the file from the version in the worshop and the local version i was changing. There will be no updates in the next weeks, cause i will be away.

Also im hoping that maybe some people in the workshop can apply the fix. After that, I probably add more content if their authors decide not to do it. I may fix some of the awesome content of [GWJ] Kexx simply because they are some of my favourites and they are also light armors that sometimes suffer a lot of this issue.

@o_siyeza
Hi, just wondering what the 19th July update was?
o_siyeza  [author] 18 Jul, 2017 @ 3:36am
@Phrozehn I have tried the Spart's Resistance Bash and seemed to be broken at the time. Probably being updated. Anyway, I may add some armors latter, but you should instead write to the original author and give Spart the link of my discussion so he can fix his mod himself :). I would only feel comfortable fixing other peoples work, if they cant or dont want to do it themselves. Plus fixing all the armors is too much work for me ;)
o_siyeza  [author] 18 Jul, 2017 @ 2:35am
I figured out how to fix all the Guns. The fix comes form the DLC Anarchy's Children, but i have includded the necesary animations on the pack, so you dont need the DLC to have this fix working. Some clipping may occur, cause it is almost imposible to have a standard solution for any posible armor (The problem is even worse cause the poses change the distance of the guns to the torso). The torsos from the DLC itself have clipping for example with the Psi amp. But the fixed armors look far better than the unfixed ones. Please feel free to use this mod to fix any of your favourite armors :)
Garr Incorporated 16 Jul, 2017 @ 1:00pm
Understood. That's actually great!
Phrozehn 16 Jul, 2017 @ 12:56pm
I love it. is there a chance of having you add Spart's Resistance Bash torsoes? Those torsos from the Resistance Pack are the ones I use most and would love to see the back item slot fixed there, too!
Dragon32 16 Jul, 2017 @ 9:56am
@o_siyeza:
Roger that, thanks for looking at it though.
o_siyeza  [author] 16 Jul, 2017 @ 9:29am
@Dragon32 I tried to use -BodyPartTemplateConfig= to remove repeated props, they keep appearing at the end of the list. I think it only works if you use the same template name to replace the previous versions with the new ones. Since I use a different name system and archetype structure, this does not happen. Also, I don’t like the idea of removing features from other peoples work. So just remove manually the things you are not interested in having from any of your mods.
o_siyeza  [author] 16 Jul, 2017 @ 7:36am
@Garr Incorporated, this mod does not affect any preexisting armor. Every armor depends on a set of files representing the model, textures, and configurations. This mod just provides the light armors from the game (these are assets locked in the game) and other mods, modified so they don’t have this issue. To apply a similar fix to a particular armor, it is necesary to edit the assets of that armor. So any armor you have should not be affected by this.
Garr Incorporated 16 Jul, 2017 @ 7:28am
I still don't know whether this mod affects only "light" armour and leaves location of swords etc. on regular bulky armour untouched...
o_siyeza  [author] 16 Jul, 2017 @ 5:54am
@Dragon32 You are totally right, the thing is that there are no new props in this mod besides some minor esthetic changes.

So if you have any mod that unlocks civilian clothes you will have repeated armors. Additionally if you use the mods i used you will have also some repeated props. I added them, so i can have the props i used without having repeated stuff.

I can make a small version of this with only the torsos, but even then you may have repeated unfixed torsos from other mods.

Of course my first choice, was to tell the authors of the already existing mods how to fix the torsos. This is also unrealistic, cause they in some cases don’t have the tools installed anymore, or simply may not be interested in putting more work into this. So I decided that the most straightforward approach, both to explain how to fix the problem to other modders and to have the cool armors i loved fixed was this.

@o_siyeza:
Thanks, point I ws trying to make was that by removing the original props in this mod's XComContent.ini there wouldn't be any duplicates from the start.
o_siyeza  [author] 16 Jul, 2017 @ 4:34am
Also, i have posted the actual procedure i followed to change the position of the Sword in the Discussions, so anyone can do it with other armors, and maybe find the solution for the other guns.
o_siyeza  [author] 16 Jul, 2017 @ 4:10am
To remove any prop for this, or any mod, go to the file XComContent.ini, located in the Config folder of the mod ('Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\268500\1058613340'), and add the symbol ; before the corresponding lines. In order to avoid messing with the names you should aldo do the same in the file file LightArmors.Int in the Localization folder.
Vulv 16 Jul, 2017 @ 3:09am
This is a wonderful little mod, o_sizeya! If it worked for more than just swords it would be absolutely perfect.
Dragon32 16 Jul, 2017 @ 2:38am
Great work, o_siyeza. I'm using a couple of the cosmetic mods you've adapted. If I subscribe to this mod will I have duplicate cosmetic parts? I think adding a -BodyPartTemplateConfig= line into your XComContent.ini could be used to remove those original parts.
Garr Incorporated 16 Jul, 2017 @ 12:55am
Is the relocation only affects light armour? Because I use some heavy armour that might suffer because of that relocation...
