There really needs to be a mod for this because this is the best flaregun i have ever layed my eyes on.

Ah yeah, I can see it now, it's a secondary flare gun, but it only works at close range and it essentially delivers an airblast and a short range explosion of fire (at the same instant) which does 50 percent more damage than a typical flare shot. The downsides is ammo for it can only be acquired from dispensers or lockers and no crit hits. Further more, the flare shot can hit multiple targets as it is essentially a ball of fire which goes out about two feet then dissipates. So think of it as a fire-shotgun with literally no range.

It could be a sprayer of some sort. Petrol, perhaps? Coat enemies in petrol to make them take crit fire damage. Coat surfaces in petrol to light them on fire (for area-denial)

I agree with some of the other comments -- as is, it looks a little fresh off the lathe. Even adding something like a scorched effect around the end of the barrel would make it look more like a used thing.

I like this a lot but it feels somewhat featureless. Perhaps you could add a warning symbol on the barrel or something like that.
