Some in this thread have mentioned an error where the text all reads like: "TXT_HEROES_POWERS"

If you get this error, make sure the ONLY two mods enabled in the DLC screen is BNW and G&K. If you have extra Civ's (Isabella, Pachacuti, Kamehameha, etc) the mod will not work.

@Kuromori Mods normally auto install when subscribed to through steam, though compatibility may be an issue because you're using a mac. If the mod messed up your game you can always unsubscribe and do a cache check, or worst case, uninstall and reinstall.

Every time I try to play a game on this, during the load screen for whichever civ I've selected I get the following error: Cannot load texture t3kLawsBG.dds. The game goes black after that, and I have to shut it down through task manager.

I was warned that if I didn't know what I was doing, a mod could mess up my game. Any suggestions on how to correctly insert this mod? I have a Mac BTW

3 things: when you say requires simplified chinese are you refering to a mod or a system language file?

2nd: when i start this mod, all of the text fields are jiberish. I cannot figure out what is what as its all TXT_HEROES_POWERS like stuff.

3rd: Does this come with a custom map?

Is there any way I can play this without brave new world?

I have the splash pack and this subscribed but when i go to enable it i get a red messags saying "This mod is missing dependencies" or something very close to that. Any assistance appreciated.

Below are the step by step:
Okay ive found a solution thats worked for me, though I wouldn't try this with any games in progress that you wan't to keep.

Go to C:\users\[your username]\my documents\my games\Sid Meier's Civilisation 5\cache.

Delete the Civ5ModsDatabase.db file and restart CIV and go to mods and it should update and redownload all fo your mods.

Then you could try to download from a source outside of steam: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=456018

and I still see the splash pack

no luck with that, here the thing I was playing v21 but when i hit updated buttom is now i do not see the game amy I missing anything

After you subscribe the mod, you may lauch the game, then choose MODS. And you will see this mod appear in your mod list. If you don't see it, restart the steam may help.

@Sam Snowman when you subscribe to it that is downloading it afterwards you go to your game launch it up and go to mods it will be there

Now that the latest version requires BNW, is it possible to keep the last pre-BNW version on the workshop for people who haven't got around to getting BNW yet? Thanks.

@freakinpain: The bonus to the AI are designed to help those poor AIs...Lower the game difficulty and the AI bonus will be greatly lowered.

My problems with this mod: it has a MASSIVE balancing problem – bug!
I play on “normal” level,
All enemy faction heroes are twice or triple as strong as mine, no matter who I take, also they get revived after one round and mine not at all. So that is BULLSHIT!!!!! and they develop much faster ...
And also they all have more cities so much faster than me, that is totally bad!
Aside from that the other factions build all armies so much faster than I can so that is a bad thing, too.
It isn’t fun to play that with all that bad things I always lose against the enemies, no matter what I do.
Example: turn 109: ma tengs hero riders level 3 did over 150 damage to cities, while when I played ma teng the level 3 riders did only 30.. so that is a bad bug…
And Ma Teng has already over ten cities O_O how can he have so many in only 109 turns without capturing cities -.-

@olsongc: The last update of this mod is based on version 1.0.1.211. I guess the newer version may not compatible with it.

Played this, but when I built the Hans Wall....I think it crashed on me. Any idea why?

@Korkrag: When typing Chinese characters using a WASD keyboard instead of a Chinese keyboard, the pinyin letter "ü" is substituted as "v".

Actualy, it seems to be for everyones name when theres an L then a U, it always seems to be Lv.

Not sure if anyone else has this, but Lu Meng seems to be called Lv Meng :-(. Heres hoping minor spelling errors can be fixed :-)

why on prince does it seem like the enemy is on hardest level, my 2nd turn 4 ambitions were founded, by the time i meet Ma Teng he had 3 cities???

Thanks for the heads up xxhe just got a miner but important request! could you please fix the music becouse rite now you got the civ5 gk theme music, all you would have to do is choose another civs music atleast like china or korea japan siam something! but the gk theme music just wears on you and pisses you off lol!! couldnt get going at all cuz for me its a big turn off thanks bro great mod other than that

Great game! I am not sure if it crashing because Cao Cao script puts two city pretty much on the same spot Chen Liu and Shou Chun

Am I the only one who's experiencing the difficulty is always on Diety? I cange it but the AI is always getting free buildings and accelerated production/reseach. Even on Settler difficulty.

Keeps crashing at turn 48 and i got the splash pack 2 and gods and kings and all other dlc 2! and im sure all that marcus.diedrich has said is nothn but the truth 2! music neads 2 get fixed aswell 2 please and other then that this is a great mod just neads some tweaks mr xxhe and this will be a master peace!!! would be nice if you could like comment and let us know if a fixed update is on the way,thanks for this mod though man well done!
