You're opening up so many fresh wounds, I have so many stories on Halo 3.
Custom Games, Campaign, all that jazz...
Halo 3 is how I met my best friends, and all from 2007, which Halo 3 came out.
Pepperige farm remembers...

Remember back when Halo 3 was being promoted so annoyingly hugely as if it was the holy grail or something? Back when it was thought to be the end of the Halo series? The first time I played it was the co-op campaign with a cousin, we rampaged through the whole campaign in a single night. When we played multiplayer we didn't know how to connect to Xbox-live (Still don't), so it was just the two of us messing with the mechanics. I always insisted playing on Sandtrap here, trying to stack the Elephant vehicles on top of each other (Succeded twice), and admiring the gorgeous scenery. He quickly got sick of Sandtrap, I couldn't get enough of it. We were pretty disapointed that Halo 3 didn't have the Waterworks map, though. That was our favorite Halo 2 map. I actually think that the multiplayer's Forge mode was the closest thing I had at the time to today's Gmod.
Oh god, I'm stuck in the 00s.
