It was really fun, but I didn't finish it, i got the 4 cubes but then I got softlocked XD, 2 cubes got destroyed (idk how) and I got trapped in the lower level, and with only two cubes in all the chamber, but it was fun!

NOW I'm satisfied!
Thank you veeery much for the warm words I needed to hear. That saved the day!!!
Cheers!!!!!
Geneosis 28 Feb, 2013 @ 12:38pm
You mean way you get the 4 cubes? I noticed that it was harder and harder to get the next cube, and it seems really natural for me to have an increasing difficulty in the level like that so I didn't mention it X) So yeah I also liked this aspect ;)
Rei  [author] 28 Feb, 2013 @ 12:31pm
Yay!!! ^o^v
And what do you think about the 4-step rising difficulty built into itself? Sadly nobody lost a word about that yet - it was so tricky to devise and apply.
Geneosis 27 Feb, 2013 @ 3:57pm
Well when I say "made me thinks a moment" it means that I really had to think about how it works to solve it, and not as for some other puzzles to simply put some cubes on some buttons or reach some place to progress ;)
Anyway I like both, sometimes it's nice to solve some logical puzzle, and sometimes it's fun to simply apply what you know to reach the exit easily :p
Rei  [author] 27 Feb, 2013 @ 2:54pm
aaa www, just a moment? Shame on me....
But I hope, at least you liked the mechanism much, as a fan of laser, since in PortCalc the lasers weren't really a key, not even for to actively alternate.
Geneosis 27 Feb, 2013 @ 7:58am
Wow, this one made me think a moment ^^ Then I understood how to make the timer work properly ;)
Rei  [author] 2 Feb, 2013 @ 3:01am
Respect, that's really creative, MeatBag! Maybe you want to come back to this challenge later, finding out, what the intended solution shall be. Meanwhile I did a solution against your acrobatic skill in this test chamber. Thank you for testing!
MeatBag 2 Feb, 2013 @ 12:42am
I done it with three cubes... It worth than with only one :(
But my solution is "creative": I put cubes one on another and jumped over laser fields :D
Rei  [author] 27 Jan, 2013 @ 12:42pm
@Koala: Hi, I recently made an update to " PortCalc ", if you want to give it another try.
Rei  [author] 8 Jan, 2013 @ 10:22am
Ah yeah, I was wondering, if it's possible. But as your video is a solution, I don't want to put it there, as it's a spoiler. Thank you.
KennKong 8 Jan, 2013 @ 2:00am
BTW, you can add videos in the same place as snapshots.
KennKong 8 Jan, 2013 @ 1:58am
Hey, it's on YouTube. Which really means, it's on Everybody Else but YouTube. Once you put something on YouTube, it really isn't your's to control anymore, is it? Go ahead, but I'd make a copy, since I might delete it later.
Rei  [author] 7 Jan, 2013 @ 9:53pm
Yay, great! You allow me to link the proof in my description?
KennKong 7 Jan, 2013 @ 5:53pm
Without giving too much away, I believe you mean this: It's Alive!
Rei  [author] 7 Jan, 2013 @ 2:04pm
Well, you are very smart in finding out unconventional ways!
Maybe it's a greater challenge for you, to find out the intended way? ;)
KennKong 7 Jan, 2013 @ 1:04pm
I never saw the circle do anything, because the cube with the bouncy gel bounced into the room with me all by itself. I never even looked in there again.
Rei  [author] 7 Jan, 2013 @ 11:25am
Hahahaha, I had to laugh out loud about myself, while watching you finishing it that way (knowing what you'll do from the very start, as there would have been a screenshot of the two portals sufficient for me) ... well ... how is the game's name? You proudly lived up to it's name!!! That would be worth an oscar *smile*
But what I still would like to know: did you actually got the circle 'alive' ?
I also recommend you my PortCalc . It must be a piece of cake for you! ^_^
KennKong 7 Jan, 2013 @ 10:58am
It was only after I had obtained all 4 cubes that I realized I only need 1 to get to the exit, like so: One Cube Solution . Since you called this a logic puzzle (and it is), I don't think this qualifies as an exploit, just a more rigorous application of logical reasoning.
Rei  [author] 1 Jan, 2013 @ 8:31am
You are forgiven ;)
Happy new Year!!!
Fredouillelafripouille 31 Dec, 2012 @ 6:11am
Oups, sorry. I didn't check just before posting... :-s

Cheers
Rei  [author] 30 Dec, 2012 @ 1:02pm
Thank you Fred, for your comment, that the map is good and interesting.
For you other comment ... I cannot follow. There is a portalable ceiling you can shoot on, when you look through the hole you jumped down from. I just doublechecked. So keep on doing science :)
Fredouillelafripouille 30 Dec, 2012 @ 4:22am
Oups, I just have seen that my previous comment wasn't complete (I failed the begining when I tried to "edit" it). So I said too that your map is really intersting. Really good job.
Fredouillelafripouille 29 Dec, 2012 @ 9:19am
But there is a mistake with your map (hem... If I use the right way to do it !) : if you forgot to put a portal in the upper chamber before go down (where is the turret), it's impossbile to go back. Really frustrating ! If you could solve this trouble, your map will really be more pleasant to try (the first time I tried, I went down in order to see what were there and I was so blocked. That doesn't give a good felling to the player. Maybe some of them could skip your chamber after that (I almost did ! :-s ))

PS : I hope to be understandable : I'm french too ! ;-)
Rei  [author] 26 Dec, 2012 @ 4:24pm
I bet you'll do it! ^_^
See you there. Cheers!
mood3rd 26 Dec, 2012 @ 3:23pm
I will re-subscribe to portcalc.
I did get 4 cubes last time, in the 4 buttons grouped together.
but that included the cube by the entrance.
& the cube in the middle of the lasers.
so 2 cubes short here.
Rei  [author] 26 Dec, 2012 @ 2:32pm
Hi mood3rd, thanks for playing anyway! Unlike PortCalc THIS is a REAL and hard laser puzzle!
Please reconsider playing PortCalc and just forget about the lazers being there! (Only catch the lonely cube! ;)
I bet you have to hit your forehead with your hand, if you come to the solution there :)
mood3rd 26 Dec, 2012 @ 8:04am
2nd day of trying this.
I give up. as I said in portcalc:
I am not into laser puzzles & lack the skill & motivation.
but it looks impresive. I think I would have problems, making 1 of this complexity.
as with portcalc, no negative ratings, as the problem is mine.
Rei  [author] 28 Nov, 2012 @ 5:33pm
Thanks, Mr. Spock! But your unflinching logic got you to the exit, right?
That's why I am recommending to play PortCalc first.
That is build with computer-logic, but rather simple chamber compared to this one, which imho shall give way more fun. You are sincerely invited!
Recipriversexclusion 28 Nov, 2012 @ 5:27am
Great, but very hard chamber. It takes a lot of time finding out how to deactivate the laser fields. The "circuit" is very confusing.
Rei  [author] 27 Nov, 2012 @ 1:07pm
I'm so sorry, but your answer twists my brain.
If you don't know where in PortCalc the exit is, you can't have played it.
Please leave a comment to the PortCalc page, so I know, where you see the problem there.
Back to this Circle: If you stuck and don't get the logic, what about trial and error? And don't get fooled by the screenshots! It's just for show and the system isn't alive yet!
Koala 27 Nov, 2012 @ 2:09am
yes because in this map even if it is difficult to reach the exit, we know where it is and we can think more easily how to reach it.
but in PortCalc I don't know where is the exit so I don't know how use the laser, maybe this one is easier but it leaves me in the fog.
Rei  [author] 26 Nov, 2012 @ 3:39pm
Thanks for playing (through?)!
Do you want to tell me, PortCalc is more difficult for you than this Circle? O_o
Koala 25 Nov, 2012 @ 12:47pm
very nice , you use a simple system but you push it at the extreme.
I tried PortalCalc too but I don't know what I have to do even if I know how to do.
keep it up !
ps: sorry for my vocabulary I'm french.
Rei  [author] 5 Nov, 2012 @ 4:17pm
It's a hard brainwork to do.
And if it's fun but somewhat too hard for you, I would recommend to play it's sister chamber "PortalCalc" first.
