I would like to see the models from the remastered version of the game added in, maybe have them replace the current models in this pack.

the only modelpack for quake 1 avalible has just 4 models. if you can, please try to port some more models to this game.

Well I did some digging around, and you can actually download the quake2 file's AI project. It's in C++ mostly, you have to have Visual Studio 2008 Express, which you can also download for free. It will be in a ISO, but you can extract it with the 7z program. From there, I read through the AI code pretty easily, but I don't know sheet as too how to convert the thing. I went to the Valve delevoper pages and read through the whole ai section, but I can't make heads or tails HOW to make it work. This is like a slice of Gmod gold here. This guy has most of the models, if he makes the rest, then carefully scripted the new npcs to function as they did, but in the source engine, then we would have the Berserker who screeches "trespasser!" or the Brute who says "Bleeh.", I want to see the tank bos in action. So as long as someone doesn't ruin them and make them a generic combine soilder or worse, hl1 bullsquid like one guy did, then I would be beyond stoked with that mod.

Because NPCs need AI programming, proper animations, and proper weapons to create properly.

Yes, I agree to npcs, even if they had similar to old AI functionality, I still would love to have these as working models. I appreciate someone took the time to make quake 2 weapons, I believe npcs would be a good addition. It would be nice if they gibed as well, I wish someone would do a gib option menu, for a way to kind of customize the way a gibbing happens.
(like the way they would gib in the actual game or at least similar to how older games would, or options for newer models like hl2 were they don't gib, but fall into physics, this way you could set the model to not only be affected by physics at death but be severed at the limb like in fallout or call of duty sometimes for example.)

However, I would really like to say I'm glad someone is making efforts to in a way restore games like this as a mod. I thought it was cool when I found out I could place old doom characters in the game.

I'd recommend to try finding Quake wars and start recompiling those ragdolls.
Secondly, Section 8 Prejudice ARM sets, skins, and vehicle models if possible.
Section 8 Prejudice has some nice models, despite it's multiplayer being concluded. Sadly only the SEC-8 infantry and weapon models were all that's on this workshop. Would like to see more of those things. Additionally, go onto Facepunch and complain to hibernating people regarding Halo 4 models (Only Kig'yar, Chief, and lots of Sweps, I can't make a RVB Promethean Edition without them and they know this!), if willing. All this is optional; thou don't need to act. We are the 732. We are Kal'eon. I am the 732.

If this can be any help. I noticed that when gibbing corpses their weaponry is separate gib.
It it possible you to get stuff from this to gmod? All the Stroggs, corpses of Marines, gibs and multiplayer characters too?
