Is overwriting the basegame Cybernetic/Synthetic traditions intended? Not sure if there's a basegame one for bio.

Yeah, this addon was abandoned a while ago. Most people ended up never using it, and I figured it was easier to simply make one mod, and limit it to ensure compatibility. A few perks suffers a little, but makes everything much easier.

Yeah, part of the reason I moved away from this system for my tradition mod. Uncertain whenever I will have time to fix it for this mod since it is kinda niche. With 2.2 approaching I will need to sit down and think how I want the AP mod to progress and whenever to keep a separate addon.
(If I had more time at my hand I would definitely fix this, but am kinda rushed these few weeks. Will see what happens)

Short form, every time the vanilla game updates, make sure your modded copy of any vanilla file is based on the latest version. Otherwise you get bugs like this.

The building shows up because there's a 1.9-era copy of 00_buildings.txt in this mod, which overrides the very different vanilla file.

The ascension perk main mod will definitely get updated with 2.2. Uncertain whenever I will keep this separate addon or simply try to ensure that everything can be put directly in the main mod (as I did with the tradition one).

@Energywelder Have reproduced the issue. Fixing the icon is no problem but still uncertain why that building shows up when it is not supposed to. Will fix when I understand how to.

...This mod, and all the files it contains, are nearly a year old. I advise avoiding its use entirely until it's updated for 2.2. ...If that happens, since it wasn't even updated for 2.0.

I did have industry by then, but you'll note there are two mineral silos in that list, one being twice the price of the other, but same desc

It had the exact same desc as the regular mineral silo (which i had just researched from industry traditions) so i was thinking of just building it, but then war broke out and i noticed one of my frontier planets had no garrison! So i went to build one, and it didn't exist in the building list, on any planet, the ones i had already built were still there, but i couldn't build any more. I'll take a screenshot and shoot it at you.

Oh, no by strongholds i mean the onplanet building that builds armies, instead i get a building that calls itself "mineral silo" but it has the icon of some sort of monument building?

If you could take a screenshot it would honestly be very useful, the more info the better. Right now I do not even know what you mean by "fortress". Can you build starholds but not fortresses? Is it outposts you cannot build at all or is it defence platforms?

I have a bunch of mods, but none really touch traditions except for expanded ethics. No screenshot, but disabling this one mod did fix it so i'm pretty sure it's this one

Sounds odd. Can you you give more details? What mods do you have active before and after. Do you have a screenshot? The more info the easier to fix the issue.

Heads up for when you update this mod to 2.0, for some reason it stops the capital buildings from spawning defensive armies. :)

It disables the faction if you have the fanatic authoritarian ascension perk, however that is it.

ok so i looked and they wont be 100% compatible, for example i started a little test game and the double buildings you already mentioned were there, but it worked so far.
what exactly does your mod do in the faction files?

Should mostly be yes. I am not entirely sure what vanilla files Cultural Overhaul changes, you will have to check that (might be written on that mod page).
